you're happily married, but niomi is very unhappily not married and had a broken engagement! Certainly she relates to the song that is about a partner leaving you and how much you miss them lol
We all know how NOT over joe she is.
Yeah I get that vibe from her too, guess he wasn't too horrible... On one of her rare YT videos I saw a comment saying "How abusive was he in the end, was it really bad?" and I thought to myself, gezus where did that come from. We know very little about J but I don't see him as some chair at the wall throwing dude or mentally manipulating princess Peanut Butter Popcorn here or she would be totally averse at anything he stands for. If anything she still comes off as having some chronic melancholy left in her about the last stage of her life.

I think that the fact that for many of the formative years, when people have their first serious romantic relationship and/or form meaningful friendships (in their twenties) most of her 'friends' and her boyfriend were other influencers played a huge role as well. Nearly every relationship she formed in that time had some monetary interest as a component. For some of these friendships it might have been a teeny tiny component and for others it was a major factor, but I would wager that there is nearly no relationship she formed since she started on YouTube that doesn't feature on her socials or the socials of the other person. All of these connections were in some way used to further the respective careers or generate interest/money. If every relationship has an air of being a means to an end to some extent it is difficult to form real friendships. Everything stays superficial. It's always transactional in a way.
Add to that the fact that both of her serious relationships with her boyfriend's played a huge role in advancing and shaping her career. The relationship with Marcus is the reason she is in the position she is right now. She would have never ended up choosing this, I am sure of it. Their path as a couple might have started differently but in the end there was most definitely a business aspect to their union. And with Joe there might not have been an economic advantage or interest to their relationship from his end, but it was the backbone of her channel and everything else. To what extent he enjoyed or hated this fact and what role it might have played in their breakup is of course only speculation. The fact is that she heavily relied on couple content in the end. And it is easy to think that you're a perfect couple when people call you #couplegoals and all your surrounding, including Niomi herself, call her partner Dreamy Joe. I guess in these instances it's quite easy to be sucked into the optics of a perfect relationship and not recognize the reality of the state of things.

Following their weekend away, it looks like they haven't hung out at all this week - I mean, they would show us if they had done! So they are either engaging in a very casual hook up or that weekend away was just an #ad for the #gifted car and Forky brought Niomi along to boost views/follower count.

Christ, she’s never been able to pose or make a ‘model face’ that’s not ridiculous and (sorry to say) downright weird. She’s been at it for such a long time and still she poses like this, even in her most recent Sludge Skin posts.

A lot of her decor is tacky, dated, and weird. Like that giant fake clock mirror thing she’s brought up again to hang in the centre of her room. Her stuff seems like what you’d find in a store with “Live Laugh Love” pillows and wall art. Weirdly enough kind of American Midwestern mom in 2009 style.
