The most plausible explanation is that she fell into the river. What murderer chooses to leave her phone behind, that was currently logged in to a conference call?!?!?! You would want to remove anything from the scene that could be potentially incriminating. Surely?

I don’t like her boyfriend. I have a strong mole detector….but that doesn’t mean he is guilty of anything sinister. But he could be. He has those same cold eyes, that Chris Watts had.
Exactly. You wouldn't leave the phone.

I followed the Watts the second it was announced that they where missing and KNEW, I FELTTTT it that he did it. I don't get this with her partner. I think he's in shock, trying to remain hopeful but is trying to keep it together as much as poss for those sweet kids.

I’m a nervous person, being interviewed I’d probably be avoiding eye contact and behaving a bit strangely, maybe not saying the right thing. I’d hate to think what assumptions people would make of me based on what they’ve seen - she’s cold, she’s detached, etc. And that’s without being in the position of having my partner be missing for a week with no trace and having to deal with everything else that comes with that.

I’m in two minds. I really don’t think there’s been anything sinister (abduction or partner involvement etc). Having known an incident of someone being lost to water I feel it’s plausible but it also doesn’t appear to be any evidence of such, reported anyway - slipping on the bank or falling would surely cause some disruption to it? But I’m also thinking some kind of MH crisis leading her to take her life somehow. People in these situations will go about like normal, dropping the kids off, walking the dog and what not. I really can’t shake the thought of this case off having a young daughter myself, those poor children must be so confused and heartbroken.
As a mum, off two kids a similar age, I feel the same way. Just can’t get those little girls out of my head. They must be so scared and desperate for their mummy 😭

The DM says at 10.50 her family and the childrens school were told about her disappearance
That's really fast isn't it ? Literally just over an hour after she went missing the school and children were told . ? This case gets stranger and more confusing. In a world were a missing adult can't be classed as missing for 24 hours because of a person's freedom and choice to go anywhere. They've told the whole school and her children within the hour. ?

I’d imagine the police are keeping a very close eye on her social media and discussions about her disappearance.

In the case of the Idaho student murders the arrested suspect had allegedly been posting online about the murders on various social media platforms

Could it be maybe cos it was near water?

In defence of the posters who wanted to point the finger at her partner (and sister at some point), I do get it. Although in this case there was absolutely nothing to indicate there was anyone else involved or that it was anything more than a tragic accident, I think human nature is to try and find the solution that makes most sense in your head. And it does seems illogical that a woman can go on a walk with her dog and in a 10 minute window just be…gone. We don’t want to think she’s simply fallen in the river and died because it’s terrifying to think that a life could be wiped out so quickly and easily, and it could happen to any of us. We don’t want to think of that. It’s much easier to try and find an explanation that’s much less likely to happen to us. So we try and point fingers or come up with elaborate theories about murders and abductions to explain what’s happened. Because we just dont want to think ‘that could be me’.
You have put into words exactly how I feel whenever I hear a tragic story sounds daft me saying this but I've never been able to explain it before , now it makes sense that's totally what it is , I hate to believe something like that could happen to a loved one or me

Or what about being in the position of having the dull weight of a blood-soaked short-handled axe between the small of your back and your trouser band since you put it there after the murder hours earlier? That would be even worse for a nervous person for sure.

BUT it didn't say the police told the school so maybe the BF told her family school. It says 'AT 10.50am Ms Bulley's family and the school attended by her children were told about her disappearance.

Lancashire constabulary launched an investigation into Ms Bulley's whereabouts on the same day and appealed for witnesses to contat cthem'.

Telling the school doesn't necessarily mean that the children were told. For example, they could have told the school as someone was going to come and pick the children up.

I’m not usually one for speculation but I wonder if they acted so quickly because of it looking quite sinister on paper

Phone on bench etc and near a river. I did think at first it looked like a suicide

The 24 hour thing is outdated and a bit of a myth at this point. If it’s obvious someone is missing and it’s out of character, especially if their dog and phone have been left behind, it’s reasonable to assume they haven’t run off of their own free will so the police would have no reason to wait 24 hours. It was also probably her partner or family who notified the school. If it was me, I wouldn’t run the risk of those poor kids hearing about it in the playground. Not unusual imo.

I've really never thought about suicide. I feel she was in such a lovely place with her two little girls her parents and sister and making plans for the next few days and future . This wasn't in my thoughts.

No not me either now at all but when it was first reported with no further details I did wonder.

historically when someone does an interview on TV it ends up being that they're involved
No it doesn’t.

When a killer does an interview on TV, their case is more likely to be portrayed in a true crime documentary as it’s easier to make a TV programme when you have lots of footage. That’s why you think that murderers always give interviews pretending to be innocent.
