It's strange because I can't find a Garstang Lane on Google Maps. There's a Garstang Road, though. I wonder if they mean that.

No, but again as I said in my earlier post. The officer at the press conference yesterday could have said 'we're not looking for anyone else' ' we don't believe anyone else is involved ' etc etc. They knew at that point the furore that was going on. It would have taken 10 seconds.

I'm not suggesting they hold an independent press conference to put him in the clear.

No I have a Garmin - I guess it would also depend on whether she had automatic syncing set up or she imported her workouts to Strava manually.

I've got a garmin, it tracks my progress swimming etc up to a week storage but ive never left it fully immersed. If you turn it off though its extinct.

Therr is no need to be rude. The call was on mute but she was still a part of the call.

I’m sure the police would have looked at her phone records, Bank statements, SM accounts early in the investigation, there could be something on there about her mental state, if she had any worries and who she was corresponding with.

Fine by me, I’m just telling you that I don’t feel superior. But by all means feel free to give your opinion and possible scenario as to what happened because I’m genuinely interested in your views on how this is foul play.

I will look at the previous thread. The wording of the things he says "we will never give up hope", to me*, in my opinion* sounds as though he might know the outcome already. When someone goes missing, people tend to take each day as it comes and not look to the future too much. He also seems defensive, especially when asked how he is coping.

On a seperate note, there was a case some years ago of Sandie Bowen, who was murdered by her husband and her remains were found tied to a sink in a huge reservoir. I am not saying that is the case here, we don't know at this stage but I find it interesting how so many missing persons cases are surrounded by water, Damien Nettles, William Davies, the murder of Sandie Bowen and Richey Edwards's disappearance.

How do you know this? Do you have evidence or first hand experience?

Possibly, but if she was put on the spot, taken by surprise, especially if she'd been distracted by a phone call, then I don't think there would be much time to send texts.

Yes, either Nicola or her partner did the same almost every day - drop the girls off then go on to walk the dog.

Makes total sense to me as a dog owner if it puts you closer to a good walking route.

Due to people accusing others (actual human beings) of murder/insinuating the same based on 0 - yes, 0 - evidence, or insisting something is "odd" when it has been repeatedly shown that it isn't odd.

I don’t think anyone has accused him of anything. I can say that I find something that someone has done bit weird without actually saying they’ve done a bad thing. You may think something is ‘odd’ that I don’t. Doesn’t make either person necessarily correct, we all have our opinions based on experiences.

Well, it's possible it's a very minor lane and that's why it's not showing on Google Maps.

What about farmers who have access to gates though?

If you look at St Michael's on googlemaps there is no way to get to another large open field without going through/past a ton of houses.

According to Wikipedia, the river flows Westwards from St Micheal's, towards Poulton-Le-Fylde and out to the Irish sea. But, there are very sharp bends, almost 90° along the way, which I would assume would make items of clothing etc getting stuck on the riverbank highly likely.

The orange parts indicate paths. The bottom one is a bridge that leads to open fields.

I noticed that the police mention GarstangRoad in relation to the pram lady. This is reachable from Allotment Lane. And look what is on Garstang Road...

A rather discreet looking bridleway that seems to have easy access. To access this from Allotment Lane would be possible WITHOUT going through the village shopping area.
