That's how dog walks work. If you just drive around with the dog in the back of the car for an hour, they don't enjoy it as much, but they do stay cleaner.

If you’re suggesting it could be someone close to her wouldn’t there be texts? At least texts showing she was unhappy/frightened? Possibly, but if she was put on the spot, taken by surprise, especially if she'd been distracted by a phone call, then I don't think there would be much time to send...

But abduction doesn’t always mean grab and drag someone. Especially if it is someone known to her. Someone might have started a conversation with her or asked for help. Someone could have pretended to be having a medical episode and she ran to help although you would imagine she would have taken her phone with her.
These cases to get to me as my Mum’s friend went missing in similar circumstances about 10 years ago. There was little publicity about her and it was declared a suicide despite her never being found and absolutely nothing to suggest she was suicidal.

But wouldn’t she have been seen leaving the area with someone, either on CCTV, DoorCam (which sadly they didn’t have 10 years ago), or by a walker/passerby.

I agree somebody knowing the dog isn’t weird but the actions of the woman are IMO

Do you mean the daughter in law? I am not aware of this phone call that the partner made about the dog. When did it happen?

This is where it would help if people read the basic facts that are online, even more so as you implied you have experience with this. If you had, you’d perhaps know she was seen by someone who knew her.

The BBC website didn't state that the sighting at 9.10 was by someone who knew her.

Why is this woman on Facebook and not talking to the police?

Why are the police so confident that the dog had a ball when Nicola's family strongly feel that she wouldn't have taken the ball out? There seems to be a difference of opinion here between the family and the police.

Perhaps her partner told the Police on that day Nicola could/or did have a ball with her.
