But what would they even say that hasn’t already been released to the public?
“yeah she joined the teams meeting, she said fuck all coz her camera and mic were off the entire time”? There’s literally nothing more to say than that.
They could have said if they had tried to get her attention or not.

I’m not going to police your posts or anything like that, but what is the point of just posting with screenshots of random facebook comments with absolutely zero context attached?
Also the ‘abandoned’ house has already been searched by the police, so this person is just chatting pure waffle.
It's something that could be of interest and it's not clear if she is talking about the lone standing building along the path or somewhere else.

Eh…. The police never mentioned a ball did they? Are you actually being serious because I honestly can’t tell anymore. Did the police woman yesterday mention a ball? No. Did they say they were confident she had one? No. She was careful not to speculate. She said so a few times. Maybe watch it back because you seem to throw random statements about now when most have been answered.

I took this to mean they were suggesting the ball went in to the river.

Yeah they can. We’ve had a case where some European police forces have managed to break PGP (pretty good privacy) phones that were used by drugs dealers who considered it untraceable. It was a massive operation but they managed to recover millions of messages. It’s amazing what they can do. Same goed for laptops having been wiped. The only thing they can’t is actual texts I believe (the old fashioned sms) but I’m not a 100% sure.
I thought all data could be traced apart from encrypted data on Whattsapp.

It’s clearly not a traveller site though is it?
One quick google will tell you that it’s a caravan holiday site.
There are two sites. One is a holiday camp site, off Allotment Lane, further East, there is what appears to be a Gypsy/Traveller site on Garstang Road.

For someone criticising the Police it’s odd you don’t seem to know some of the basic facts that are online for all to see,
I am not criticising at this stage, just concerned.

The ball was mentioned as significant in a news paper article, but the police statement was more ambiguous.

With a developing story like this, facts sometimes get muddled.

I’ve been following this closely and as far as has been released, no one saw nicola by the river. She was seen in the field by someone who interacted with her, the only thing that ties her to being next to the river is the phone and dog lead which could easily have been put there either with sinister intention or just found and placed somewhere they could be seen. There is zero actual proof that she was by the river at any point. The dog wasn’t found by the bench either from what I can gather, but a couple of roads away according to her friend.
A lot of the people currently saying it’s an accident and to accept that hypothesis would quickly change their tune if the police did another statement stating they have other suspicions.
From watching it all closely and as a psychologist I firmly believe the husband is connected somewhere. I couldn’t tell you why, there’s just something I cannot put my finger on about him and his body language /choice of words. I am happy to be proven wrong and will accept it when there’s viable proof that this is a tragic accident, but as it stands I’m yet to see any proof of that beyond the police saying it’s their ‘belief’.
Thats not what it says here in the Independent.

My watch is fully waterproof to 100m but yes I wonder if that means it would still emit signal/tracking ability? Or just referencing that the actual watch would still work? Regardless, if there's been no sync from it, it points even more conclusively that it's been submerged.
Or taken and disabled

Maybe I’m misremembering but I thought you were hinting that it was strange the DIL knew the partner until it was pointed out they all live in the same place. The MIL saw the dog but couldn’t remember who the owner was so phoned her DIL who knew it was Nicola so contacted her partner. It’s not like she could’ve rang the police. What would she have said?
Can we please clarify - does MIL mean Nicola's mother in law and does DIL mean Nicola's daughter in law?

Exactly. Looking at the angles theyve shown of the river you wouldn’t think it was 15 foot deep but it is. It would be a miracle to survive that anyway with the heavy clothing and boots.
The area at St Michael’s can be less than 0.5m, further up it gets a lot deeper near the last sighting. If she’d fallen in where it’s deep it looks a bit of a way from the bench. Not speculating either way, but can see why people are going off on tangents.

The husband talk reminds me of Jill Meagher’s husband who was subjected to a witch hunt. Police did do searches of their home at the time but he was judged on his behaviour in the interview.

I wonder why no one else in the conference noticed something up when Nikki wasn't interacting with it. I don't use these Zoom/Team type things, is it normal for a participant to be on mute?
