I do think considering they are still appealing for dash cam footage, witnesses and asking people to look out for clothing that it is a valid point to question why they have not released any cctv images of Nicola from that morning. It seems pretty standard in missing person cases to see the last image of them if they were picked up on cctv to help jog people’s memories. I must admit I am curious about that.
They may not have got much (if anything) or are generally taking a stupidly long time getting the images

It's curious, I've seen locals say that the river there is very shallow and slow so the body would presumably be found fairly quickly

I’m sure I read that it’s up to 18ft deep at high tide which was 2 hours after she was last seen

Yes, anyone else who believes in something you don't is a troll. 🙄
Not at all. I’m not averse to belief in psychics (I know people think it’s woo woo, sue me 🤷‍♀️) but I do have a strong aversion to Facebook ghouls claiming to have been contacted by high profile missing people.

Maybe she is a ghoul, who knows. But she could have some useful information, no matter how it was obtained.

Facebook articles about her keep appearing on my homepage I see the psychics have started commenting apparently she’s definitely dead and asking for Linda 🙄.
I might regret asking this but who‘s Linda, or is that just a name she’s plucked from an orifice 🤔

Fitbits can be synced from 100 feet, so the fitbit atleast must be in the close vacinity.
Depends if it’s waterproof, or are they all waterproof?

similarly this Stravia someone mentioned, is that through a device like a Fitbit or a mobile app?

If only Crime Watch was still on tv. In all seriousness though , a reconstruction of what’s known so far with someone of Nicolas height and build , wearing identical clothing to what she had on might stir a few more memories. It seems the police really don’t have any idea what happened. I still have a feeling that there is some significant family info the police haven’t shared that may or may not be relevant.

This is the thing... if she was going to be found .. after seemingly pinpointing her descent into the water at a specific time... why hasn't she still been found in a slow running body of water in a location they've got experts searching... where is she ??? Why hasn't she been found. ???

I’m not going to police your posts or anything like that, but what is the point of just posting with screenshots of random facebook comments with absolutely zero context attached?
Also the ‘abandoned’ house has already been searched by the police, so this person is just chatting pure waffle.
It's something that could be of interest and it's not clear if she is talking about the lone standing building along the path or somewhere else.

That would be me - Strava is the app that it's been shown she's used before - basically when you track an activity on a Fitbit/Apple Watch/Garmin, you can export it to Strava which then brings up the map, details of how many kms travelled etc - Nicola's strava screenshots have been posted on news articles as it seems she was an avid user, tracking her steps etc.

My point was that for anyone else using Strava, if you log the activity primarily through the actual Strava app, you can choose to use the beacon, which sends your location to a nominated person whilst you carry out your activity. And presumably if your device was waterproof (which mine is), it would still track you in water?

I didn't include it as I wasn't aware of it at the time. That is what I have seen just now.
Ok well it has been discussed numerous times in the threads. This is maybe why a wiki isn’t a great idea right now although we appreciate the effort x

That picture just makes me think the dog was getting too close and Nicola was worried she'd go in so she's gone down there but too quick and done that thing where you can't stop :(
Or the dog ran back up the bank and knocked her off balance. But if Nicola had rolled down, she could have lost an airpod and made marks on the bank falling, so does it make more sense she was by the rivers edge?
