FAQ’s and info - please read

Nicola parked at school, dropped her daughters off, and started the walk from there as usual.
Doorbell footage has been shared of her leaving home that morning.

Nicola joined a Teams call but was on mute with her camera off, which was standard for that call. Unfortunately this meant that the other participants did not see or hear anything.
The call ended at 0930 but Nicola did not disconnect from the call.

The photo of the river bank shows the drop down to the water. The police diver had to be helped out by 2 people.

Nicola’s phone, along with her dog Willow’s harness and lead, were found on or near the bench shown in top left of the photo.

There was just 23 minutes between the last sighting (0910) and the phone, harness and lead being found (0933); and just 13 minutes between the phone being at the bench (0920) and being found.

Willow was dry when found so hadn’t been in the water - this does not mean that she did or didn’t see Nicola in the water. It simply means that the dog did not go in.

Willow wasn’t wearing her harness and that was normal on a walk, it was usually removed along with the lead for that part of the walk.

They didn’t usually take a ball but it’s not certain that they didn’t on this day.

Willow was found agitated, running between the bench and gate to the section of the field by the river. This is a small area.

Nicola’s partner was at home, and has never been named as a suspect - this has always been a missing person enquiry.

Nicola’s partner has a business which is shown on Companies House as ‘compulsory strike off’ just after Nicola’s disappearance. This does not in any way suggest financial difficulties. It purely means the company was already in the process of being closed.
He is director of another company which is still trading, and he works in a skilled industry.
It is explained here https://tattle.life/threads/nicola-bulley-missing-4.37193/post-13873756

A helicopter with thermal imaging was deployed the day Nicola went missing, to search above the river.

Lancs Police are using the caravan park as their base. All empty caravans have been searched, as have local empty properties along and near to the riverbank.

Nicola’s family are keeping all possibilities open in the hope of Nicola’s safe return, which is absolutely understandable.

SGI began to assist the search efforts on Monday, with Peter Faulding giving ever-changing updates on when he expects to be able to confirm whether Nicola is or is not in the river. Unfortunately his comments are mostly contradictory and unhelpful.

A GoFundMe page was set up on Monday by a family friend with a target of £100,000. This was quickly changed after social media unrest to £50,000, then £5,000. Shortly after, the page was closed before it raised even £500, and the friend posted on Facebook to state that the family didn’t initially know she was doing it, and she was just trying to help.

Lancs Police gave an update via press conference on Tuesday, confirming that they are still focussing huge resource on the search effort and asking the general public to avoid doing anything to make this any more difficult.

The police have continuously stated that the most likely situation is that Nicola has sadly somehow entered the water, but they remain open to all possibilities and fully investigate all information they receive. There are 40 detectives working on the case.

2 exits from the walking route are not covered by CCTV - the caravan park (camera not working) and the A road. Police are working to contact all drivers to obtain dashcam footage where possible on the A road but there were around 700 drivers to contact.

On Wednesday evening just hours after Lancashire Police asked people not to go searching properties, a live TikTok video was streamed of a user called DanDuffy trying to search the house commonly called 'the abandoned house' which is in fact being renovated.

So now there are reports coming to light about a "tatty red van that you could live in" that residents have reported as suspect in the area, that was parked on Hall Road. This is now suspect. What does anyone else think?

Not sure if this posted before the cut off for the last thread but just having a brain dump..I think the only thing about the lady who found the dog/phone/harness that seems a bit off to me is the circumstances in which she found those things and the timeline. Surely finding those items alone right next to a river, where there is a sign to say that the water is dangerous/deep would at least spur you on to look in the water on raise some concern that there might have been an accident near the water?
The timeline posted by Nicola's friend said that the lady found the dog etc at 9.33 but no further alarm was raised until 10.50 am when her daughter in law went to the bench and recognised Nicola's dog/screen saver on her phone. That's almost an hour and a half. She also tied the dog up with string?? I mean while you are doing that are you not thinking what the heck is going on? I'm assuming police know where she went during that hour and a half period of time, I gather she is elderly so possibility of her doing anything seems slim but there is just something about her account that seems strange. I do believe that she own the caravan park where one of cctv cameras isn't operating. No tusr

I’ve just read in The DM (which is why I’m checking lol) that of the 3 exits from the river, only 1 was covered by cctv. One road was a blind spot, I think it’s the one behind the bench, and one had broken cctv. So when the police are saying we‘re sure she hasn’t left this area, how do they know?

I was thinking the other day if this was a tv show then she’d be addicted to prescription drugs and gone to meet someone dodgy at the caravan park to get some and there would have been an accident. The caravan lady would think it was bad for business hidden the body and moved all her stuff and her dog to the bench.
But it’s real life so she probably fell in the river.

There are two caravan parks I believe. Anyone got a map of where all these caravan parks are with the weir and the sluice and the tow path, last sighting etc because I am continually getting confused. I am under the impression that the caravan park where no cctv works is not the caravan park the string lady owns. Her daughter in law runs the pods next door to her campsite which is different again. They look great on a vid I found on line but the beds would do my old back in.

Also, what the devil is the confusion about the phone on the floor, there was another witness to willow just after string lady found her, he found the phone and put it on the bench right?

And another thing that is going round my head this morning after hearing Pauls and N's friends/sis's? statements. Both are talking of 'the sofa'. Do they believe that she might possibly of gone for a wander as she is low and are encouraging back to her favourite place, the sofa, with the girls?

Yeah so I read a quote from the string lady who said a man came through the gate behind her and spotted the phone on the ground, but then every other report and police statement says the phone was found on the bench so I don't know what to believe in terms of where the phone was and who was there when it was found.

I think that’s why the worlds gone nuts over it.
I think it’s because it’s basically a real life Midsomer and many of the people doing the media reporting on it look at her and see themselves and their lives and have a wee bit of a panic.

(I’ll only think something is more afoot if it turns out Joyce Barnaby was part of the dog walking set)

I was definitely on the side of Nicola being in the River, but so much more information now coming out, not sure how substantiated all this information is, so now I am on the fence

I listened to police statement again this morning, as I'm confused about the phone ground/bench situation. I was so certain they'd said it was found on the ground. The police officer says its believed to have been on the bench at 9.20 and found on the bench at 9.33. I didn't listen to all the statement.
Also confused about dog tied, dog running loose.

I think one of the reasons we have all gone nuts with this is that it it so relatable to so many of our lives. Walking the dog before/after school. We feel safer with our dogs. As a woman who isn't quite as sure footed on her feet as I used to be, who liked to walk deep into forests on my own with my dog, this story, whether she is in the river yet to be found or gone gone... are both pretty scary.
