If I knew that my partner had these problems and suspected that she was vulnerable enough to harm herself, then I would have presumed that from day 1.
Instead the narrative was that she was 100% NOT in the river. If Nicola was THAT vulnerable, then why are they so convinced that she hasn't harmed herself?
Why all the media attention from family/friends? If she was THAT vulnerable, why do a channel 5 interview asking for everything to be scrutinised and every house searched?

100% there would have been a lot of conversation before going with the angle that he was hacked. Bringing to the public attention that he had a Pinterest board and that he says someone hacked and added boob photos but not going with the Pervy Paul angle.
The media have to be very very careful. Paul isnāt a celebrity, heās the partner of a missing person. Imagine if they ran the story that heās this perve thatās been pinning all these soft porn photos for years and following all these young womenās TikTokās etc and then he got a huge public backlash and harmed himself. Especially as what ever has happened this must be an hugely difficult and vulnerable time for him. Ever since Caroline Flack there seems to be much more care over writing stories on people that could cause them mental harm.
Do I think heās social media activity is pervy, yes. Do I think itās very unusual. Sadly no, not all men but some men. And may well have no connection at all with what has happened to Nicola.
The idea that the newspapers in 2023 would start running articles about the partner of a missing person on his activity (not illegal nor particularly unusual) from before she went missing as if it has any significant relevance other then to shame him is wild.
My opinion is the new Kelly brook pin in all likelihood was a hacker looking to add fuel to the fire of his previous postings. As stirring the pot that heās looking at and sharing this stuff since Nicola went missing would be seen as odd. Paul may well have supplied evidence to the newspaper that his account had be compromised (like those emails you get saying your account has been accessed from a new device / location).
Wanted to read all the conversation on this before chiming in to avoid repeating or getting me facts wrong as not following this closely.

I wanted to comment on thread #12 but it's closed. In relation to a question someone had about drowning and being washed out to sea.
I live in Dublin and a year ago a woman went missing after going for a walk on a beach (Donabate). Her name was Bernadette Connolly. It was on 7th Jan. She also "vanished into thin air" doing something she regularly did and in an area she knew very well and lived close to. Her bag and belongings were found on a search of the beach. She was also 45 and a mother. Her family were distraught and ran a campaign online and in news/radio/posters. Begging for her to come home. After a week or two of locals searching and a huge police operation involving the coast guard and divers, people started speculating about her personal life (single mum - had she been meeting someone off a dating app who had bad intentions? What about her mental health? Menopause? Job loss? Financial problems?) You get the idea. And elaborate theories of how she'd framed her own disappearance, even that there might be a serial killer in the area. The longer she continued to be missing the wilder the theories. The police kept saying it wasn't murder, she was a missing person and that everyone needs to stop the theories, which only made people MORE suspicious that the police or family were hiding something and that there must have been more to it.
However her body washed up on the other side of the Irish sea near Blackpool, discovered on March 4th. She had drowned. Most obvious explanation and least dramatic, a tragic accident. So maybe that's what's happened to Nicola, a tragic accident at a tidal river that brought her quickly out to sea.

A body discovered on a beach in Blackpool in northern England has been confirmed as that of missing Dublin woman Bernadette Connolly.
I just find it very unusual that he has a pattern of doing something on his social media then deleting hours later. First with the Sam Beckett name change on Facebook then deletion, then the Kelly Brook pin on Pinterest then deletion. Itās like heās taunting people.

i can kind of believe that someone found his Pinterest and hacked into it but I donāt see the point of doing so. Such a random thing to do especially on a random account with no activity for months - it is his account though that is clear. What is the purpose to hack and then post a random boob picture? How did they regain access to the account? Generally hackers would take control of the account. Very strange behaviour.
