I am having to dig deep to find a grain of compassion for her, which is sad. And it IS sad, the way that life goes. A young woman in her thirties should not be staring down the barrel of a Stage IV diagnosis. And meanwhile I'm sitting here feeling hot and fat and menopausal, some 20 years older than Nicky and not really making the most of life at the moment and I should be more grateful. Yes she is extremely irritating and seems selfish but I would not want what she's been saddled with for all the money and holidays in the world.

I think she’ll go the other way in Disney and go full on “I need a wheelchair”. She’ll then of course use it to get to the front of all the queues.

She doesn’t need to do that 🤷🏼‍♀️ She gave all the tips how to que jump in Florida so she won’t need to do a wheelchair scenario!!

Nah.

you can tell by the way she moves and her physical behaviours that shes not in any serious pain. She’s maybe a bit sore or whatever but as has been said up thread she bounces all over the place, she’s out and about, wandering around, she doesn’t hobble or shuffle, doesn’t need any aids to move around, she is very mobile and you can see by watching her on stories etc that she’s fully functional and not in any way restricted by pain. If she was genuinely in pain she would be taking the medications on offer.

That makes total sense! Thanks for clarifying! ♥

Something I’ve not really notice before - she barely has any muscle in her legs - which makes sense she doesn’t do any load bearing exercise - which I understand due to her bones. She has that ‘skinny-fat’ look, basically no muscle. But there are other ways to build muscle and surely this would help support her bones and be in less pain? Bowelbabe was the same - she did a lot of running but never made as much of an effort with muscle health and she was painfully thin and weak towards the end. Not that people at EOL should be weight training, but at this point you would thing NNL would do a bit more 🤷‍♀️ perhaps I am projecting what I would do!

Can she not just duck off to Disneyland permanently. It’s so monotonous and ridiculous.

There’s no denying that she must experience pain from having cancer in her bones. However, she definitely doesn’t come across as someone who has mobility issues and chronic pain. She’s constantly jumping and dancing. Being able to spend hours on your feet in theme parks would be out of the question surely.
I’m really trying to not be ignorant and know that not all disabilities are visible etc buy the constant jumping around does it for me. She is very flexible with no restrictions and that’s clear from the content she posts daily.

Good point! I have a feeling that she kind of makes up her own workout routine, maybe without the help of a professional even at the very beginning. Yoga can be good for muscle strength, but only to a certain extent. Without progressive overload, she’ll be essentially painting over the same wall twice. It won’t do anything beyond maintenance. I 100% get if she doesn’t want to lift weights, but there are so many other types of strength training that would strengthen her muscles, protect her bones and avoid damage. Pilates, body weight, fitness bands, barre, even a blogilates video would probably work for her at this stage.

I’m sorry…but who called that she’d be going more bald for Disney for the attention/sympathy…

I’m no hairdresser but my husband uses clippers and you have to manually change the attachment for the number of shortness you want. So who changed the attachment to a lower setting so she made this ‘accident’
🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄 I hate liars!

Yeah, they really don’t magically change themselves and given Mr Gormless doesn’t sport a shaved head…
