I don't understand why she speaks/acts in this way?

Well, I guess I do - she inexplicably has gained tonnes of followers with the 'hoomans/happy food wiggle/bean/din dins' thing. So she probably feels like that is her USP and that is what she needs to keep up in order to keep the followers and therefore the income.

It must be absolutely exhausting in real life though. Like, she must sometimes wake up and think 'who are all these utter dickheads who love it when I speak like this'?

im sorry but this is ridiculous - it looks like a bloody childrens ward. Why is everyone around her treating her like a child? She’s a GROWN ADULT 34 YEAR OLD WOMAN!!!!! Jesus wept!!!!

She's having a horrible procedure done this morning (although still squeezing in a couple of ads, reminds me of BB but the difference is also huge, as BB was doing good for other people too).

And there’s no mention on the secondary sisters stories by Laura saying sorry she can’t be there / that she’s been missed / unwell … which you would think if they were close there would be ?

I think we have to really treat her as someone who's a little bit not quite all there, really! I'm wondering if she actually does have some sort of learning disability or mental health problem because some of her behaviour is quite disturbing to witness.

I think she’s been so traumatised by her cancer diagnosis that she seems to have regressed back to a child like state as she just can’t cope with the reality of what is happening to her.

It seems to be linked to her need for people to ‘look after her’ - she acts like a child so that she gets the care and attention given towards a child rather than an adult. It’s hard to know if she had a strong need to be babied and cared for before the cancer and the cancer has simply exacerbated that, or if it’s come about as a trauma response to the cancer.

I suspect the former, and that she’s always needed and craved a lot of attention, and the cancer has increased and accentuated her need. And given her a simple way of getting it.

I agree, I think the obsession with acting childish is her bizarre way of blocking out reality. I wouldn’t be surprised if she is under the care of the mental health team and they’ve agreed that the children’s ward is the right place for her.

I’m not saying it’s the way things should be and she drives me mad with her childish behaviour but I actually pity her more than anything now

I’ve been thinking this for a while tbh and it’s probably why she’s on a youngsters ward.

She's just come round from an operation and is watching The Little Mermaid so yes, she's in the right ward.

I was going to have some sympathy and then she had to go and get her sodding arse out. Even when being ‘educational’ she still has to flash her bits.

Does her vanity have no limits?! Or maybe it’s more accurate to say can she sink no lower?

I know - do we need to see her wound/bandage/arse? or actually, another load of expensive food which has been bought with the 'pennies' from her 'parentals.' OMG.

Let's be honest, when was the last time she paid for something when it wasn't someone else's money.

When is she going to realise that we really don’t want to watch her eating and doing the food wiggles, even the way she eats irritates me.

Thread suggestion

Nicknacklou’s clothes are always gone, if only the food wiggles would do one

Isn’t it done using a local anaesthetic? Or as she’s a large child did she ask to be put to sleep I wonder ?

Usually just local anaesthetic....I used to work in onc/haematology day unit and never had a patient require sedation! ...yes it's not a pleasant experience but we had patients requiring bone aspiration regularly during treatment ( every 4-6 months) and we had a specialist haematology nurse who undertook the procedure with another nurse assisting
It takes about 1 hr start to finish to complete the procedure and the patient is normally home within a hour of procedure at latest ( unless they're already inpatient!) .....
