Does anyone find when their baby wakes in the night and you go in to them you make it worse 😂 little crazy cat woke at 1.30am and wasn’t settling back down and my husband went in and tried to settle her down, then she was just crying more so I tried. Between us we spent about and hour and a half passing her back & forth trying to rock her, shhh her etc and she was just screaming. Anyway I’d about given up so I just put her in her cot & walked out and said to my husband I just need 5 minutes I don’t know what to do to calm her down. Anyway within 30 seconds she lay down & went to sleep 😂😂😂 we were like ffs

Yup. Everleigh does this.
Although she's so much worse for me than my partner.

I had to do the same not long ago because I got her out, she kept screaming, tried shhhing her, kept screaming. This was almost 2 hours.
My patience was wearing thin so I just had to put her in and leave her for a few minutes for a breather.
A couple of minutes later... She was back asleep 🤯

I know I shouldn’t have a favourite twin. But as they’re not mine and I’ll never meet them I feel I can secretly admit I love T2 a little more?! 🙊 Love the level of drama she brings to the thread and also this is adorable

@Sailorontheseasea sending you all love ❤

Honestly, I’m so confused, lil P went to bed earlier and I absolutely hated myself as I got the whole clock thing wrong and she has just woken up 🤔

I’m not all smug, shes still had me up 4/5 times 😂

@Crazycatlady18 Kitten is doing the same. Last night she was whining a little from 2:30 am, but not that much and she fell asleep again every time. At 3:30 she was still doing it though, so went to her, changed her diaper and put some teething gel on her gums, but all hell broke loose 🙃
Eventually I put her back and she cried for about 5 mins, then on and off for about 10 mins and then she fell asleep again.
These babies 🤷‍♀️

yessss, this happens to us!!
I swear they go through some dick sleep/tooth growth phase at 1! Apparently there’s a small regression but I swear there’s a regression every month according to the internet.

Oh girls, can someone tell me how bad the 1 year old imms are… just had my letter yesterday and I’m just not ready for this type of negativity.

Highly recommend sticking your kid in a helmet for sleep. He’s slept better the last week than he has in his entire 7 months of life. Another tooth’s coming through too so I gave him calpol, might have drugged him to sleep last night though so he woke at 7 this new time (so is that 8? My brain can’t handle time changes 😂)
I’m just waiting for the 8 month sleep regression to start now he’s only just come out of the 4 month one

relax snoop I didn’t overdrug my child it was the recommended dose xx

Baby G had hers a couple of weeks ago, I was absolutely dreading them but they were actually fine! The jabs themselves weren’t nice, she had two in each leg and did really cry, but I took some little biscuits in with me and as soon as she’d had them I gave her a biscuit and she stopped crying 😂 She napped for almost two hours when we got home (defo the jabs because she usually detests naps)!

She was a bit tearful and quiet for the rest of the day, just wanted to sit on my lap and watch tv/read books rather than get down and crawl around and play like she normally does. I gave her calpol twice and the next morning she was back to her normal self.

With the 9yo the jabs were fine, he had sore legs for a while but other than that he just cracked on with life.
This time round, there were many tears but again wasn't too bad once they were home and had calpol and endless snacks!

You may find that she will actually sleep better if you put her to bed earlier.

We take Everleigh up at 6 and she's asleep for 7, move it an hour later and she's up even earlier!

They're 1 in each leg, 1 in each arm.
Ours were anyway.
But she was fine in herself after.
The only thing is i think she had a bit of a reaction with her leg, it swelled and was really hot and so painful just one side.
I will add that this didn't happen with the other 2 kids though 😊 but just a pre warning as I know someone else on here had the same thing!

Don’t think I’ve mentioned it on here. Baby Waka has been waking with trapped wind every night since I went back to work. Can take her up to two hours of crying before it gets out. I threw bottles away incase she was gulping, massage her tummy, do the bicycle leg thing before bed, x2 doses of colic drops, avoid legumes and grapes (that’s what started it). Been to gp and broke down, she said she’s not a food specialist and referred us back to allergy clinic. Anyway. I’m broken. As I was up with her crying last night thought about handing my notice in at work. This is not sustainable. I’m exhausted.

I don't know if it will help?! But since switching to cows milk twin 1 has been the same, she's been screaming all night with trapped wind.
We've added in a probiotic into her day drinks and her wind has got far easier. Infact she rolled over last night and let out a massive one it took me by surprise!
Could it be worth a try, these are the ones we have currently

I will try anything. I switched her formula in sept so have gone solely oat milk for last two days but I’ve been no improvement. Going to buy that now x
