so I think this is gonna be our plan. His room is tiny and won’t fit a single bed without getting rid of his cot and drawers, so looks like we’re going to have to move him up to the middle bedroom

It was always the plan to upgrade him to it if we had baby #2 so that they could take his place in the nursery, but we wanted to keep the office/spare bed going for as long as poss which is why we started him in the box room. But sleep wins.
I spent ages a few weeks ago trawling the internet for a double sized floor bed in the UK. So pricey

but I think it’s worth if if I can feed him in it and roll away. And would at least give us more options playing family musical beds down the line esp if there’s another bambino in the mix.
