I suspect she is either buying followers or she is being reported (because she steals content ideas, because she puts up content that’s body checking or glorifying mental health etc etc. or just being a bit of a knob - aka fly gate). A lot of her content is essentially soft porn, which might get reports from people who didn’t sign up for that and don’t want to see it. I get the sense insta is keen to make sure that the platform isn’t used as an onlyfans style platform and they want to make it accessible and teen friendly as possible, so are more likely to penalise soft porn, if they don’t remove it completely.

I honestly think she just has total body dysmorphia and doesn’t have a clue to dress for her shape or size. I think her weight has fluctuated so much that she’s never learned what flatters or fits her, so she sticks with the legging/hoody combo out of security.

I think she’s a lot less comfortable with her size than she lets on, and I think she insists on wearing size 10 undies because she is terrified of admitting to herself she’s probably a size 14+

I wish she was open / transparent about what her relationship with B is and why they have separate rooms. Not that she has to be, but for my own nosiness I want to know why.
People above are entirely correct that flaunting her body online / basically making love to herself on insta on a daily basis and then being insecure/ unhappy in her relationship just shows another layer of her falseness.
The problem with Nelly is I don’t even think she realises how messed up she is - and it’s so dangerous for her to have this platform that enables her messed up and frankly concerning behaviour.

I think she has one brother. But I’m betting if you let a psychologist loose with the haycock family, they’d have a lot of material to work with.

poor self esteem, anxious and codependent attachment styles, anxiety issues - all of which are exhibited by Helena, can all be caused by childhood trauma, neglect and abuse.

I have a relative whose mother was very distant, controlling and not very maternal. In adulthood, she is a completel hypochondriac. I think it’s because she struggles with being independent and responsible for herself, because her controlling mother never encouraged or allowed her to be growing up. I also think periods of illness were the only time she felt she received maternal love and affection and so this is something she has taken into adulthood, as a way of connecting in an unhealthy way.

it’s not cute, it’s not quirky and it’s pretty pathetic. Mental health is a serious issue and should be spoken about as such, and treated.

It’s like someone coming on to the gram with cancer and talking about their silly lumpies and bumpies and posting selfies instead of going to hospital appointments. It’s deranged and inappropriate.

she’s almost a 30 yr old grown ass woman, why can’t she take responsibility for herself, get the treatment she claims she needs and speak about her health issues like an adult? Particularity when she positions herself as an authority to speak on health issues for the likes and follows.

she’s definitely not ok.

she constantly posts ailments for attention? Validation? Half of them being made up or exaggerated (see Flygate)

She barely ha a social life, with little interaction with actual friends

her hobbies are limited and focus on her body (running, that hoop thing)

she is completely codependent on her boyfriend, to the extent she can barely get through a social function without him accompanying her. She can’t deal with minor problems (flat tyre) without using him as a crutch.

she claims to barely be able to go outside her flat without bad social anxiety, yet doesn’t post about any time of treatment she is seeking for this, and doesn’t seem to be trying to manage this at all. Instead she is indoors most of the time.

she is obsessed with her body. Taking photos of it, editing photos of it, praising it for being beautiful. Like none of those things are bad in moderation, but nelly devoted a lot of time and energy into this

she’s obsessed with her social media. The girl can’t take a bath without instagramming it.

how? Does 100% of profits of the sale go to Coppa feel or will Wild Deodorant only donate £10K when they reach a certain amount of sales? Or what? Why isn’t it more transparent?

I doubt nelly sees a problem with this because she’s just as shady and lacking in transparency in her own charity “donations” via Depop.

I flagged nelly’s fibs on her gram to Wild Deodorant, how she was marketing it as an anti perspirant.

to the shock of absolutely no one, they never responded.

I think nelly has removed the claims from her insta but it was obviously a case of quietly deleting from her stories highlights rather than actually releasing a correction on her claims. Probably prompted by tattlers pointing out her embarrassing lies rather than any ethical concerns in her part.

I follow a lot of Ed recovery/Bopo accounts and this reel is an example of the type of stuff I enjoy seeing and consider healthy.

it’s not nelly’s brand of false positivity and “my body is SO beautiful and a work of art” while dressing and posing for the male gaze, but ultimately staying stuck in a depressive cycle.

it genuinely encourages adopting a healthy viewpoint and relationship with our body that doesn’t focus on how “beautiful” or attractive our body is.

maybe I’m cynical, but Nelly is such an outright liar it wouldn’t surprise me at all if she booked herself into a class and pretended it was with friends.
