I know a Penny-Anne. Never shortened to Penny, always called Penny-Anne which is just an ugly combination of names IMO

I knew a Carol-Anne who went by Annie, she got annoyed if people called her Carol or mistook the name for Caroline/Carolyn. I can't blame them!

I've recently started a new, fully remote job. We communicate between offices based in several countries. I have just received an email from one of the US team leaders whose first name is, no joke, Chawnterell + very plain surname e.g. Chawnterell Smith or Chawnterell Davis. Lest anyone think I'm making fun of African-American names, this woman is white ... and named after a mushroom it seems?
