Aye, I thought the frequent stories of them in the hot tub at the Galgorm had disappeared recently! He threw in at the ‘never mind the mock blame’ show on Saturday that he was single
He does seem fairly level headed - but more about US shows than local.Aaron McCann seems like a genuine all around good egg. Nothing else to add hopefully no one has any stories that would point otherwise
I think they actually bounce off each other well in their ‘bomb squad’ podcast.Fair play to him. I do like Colin but get the impression he thinks he’s top dog, would be good hit for his ego if Aaron made it big in the US
The bomb squad pod is great! Going to see them in the waterfront in a couple of weeks and really pumped for it. They do bounce off each other really well for sure!I think they actually bounce off each other well in their ‘bomb squad’ podcast.
Don’t reckon it was any sort of ego knock - different courses for different horses- Colin doing well running the comedy clubs, the live shows, Patreon etc not to mention wife and kid x
It's ok AaronAaron McCann seems like a genuine all around good egg. Nothing else to add hopefully no one has any stories that would point otherwise
Like Colin myself but whats with them big Pe*do glasses ffs.Fair play to him. I do like Colin but get the impression he thinks he’s top dog, would be good hit for his ego if Aaron made it big in the US
Have to agree on this. Colin had taken him under the wing year's ago and seems to be very much his biggest supporter. All those lad's back one another. NI comedy scene has very few wankers.I think they actually bounce off each other well in their ‘bomb squad’ podcast.

I like him too tbf, never miss any of his podcasts and he’s doing very well for himself but just can’t help but feel he has a bit of ego about him because he’s the most successful of all the NI comedians. Nothing wrong with knowing you are the best but just think it would be interesting to see how he would react if any of the others became more successful/known outside of Ireland than him. It's ok Aaron

You wouldn't go and see him more than once a year in my opinion. I definitely get what you mean regarding the ego. Then again they got Kevin Hart into Laverys.I like him too tbf, never miss any of his podcasts and he’s doing very well for himself but just can’t help but feel he has a bit of ego about him because he’s the most successful of all the NI comedians. the specs weirdly suit him though. Remember when he did Besty McD with the big hipster specs? Glasses just suit him I think!
This post is all spot on. Am I the only one who thinks Mummy Banter is annoying as feck though?TBH I think all the local crew of comedy look out for each other and have honed their craft by travelling the comedy circuit all over the country.
Love the older ones also like Jake OKane Tim McGarry Colin Murphy - seen them all numerous times.
In my opinion the ones they have the issue with is the ones that become social media popular or viral and get a fasttrack eg mummy banter
I have seen Paddy McD live he was funny but I think now he’s getting a bit big for his boots and sometimes it’s painful to listen to Also lots of same material.
Shane Todd was his support and wasn’t impressed. But I like his podcast, and how he interacts with guests.
See Andrew Ryan he was funny, William Thompson good too.
Follow all their podcasts like the banter.
Would like to see Ciaran Bartlett live
Mickey Bartlett turns me
Want to see Aaron but OH thinks he laughs at himself to much and it’s an ick.
Been to the empire comedy club a few times and it’s good for a different kind of night out. Quality varies.
They are right when they say the NI comedy scene has to be one of the best- a lot of talent in such a small place.TBH I think all the local crew of comedy look out for each other and have honed their craft by travelling the comedy circuit all over the country.

I absolutely love the NI comedy scene, seen a lot of them live stand up and live podcasts and things. But mammy banter absolutely melts me, I do not find her funny. She has her own thread on hereThis post is all spot on. Am I the only one who thinks Mummy Banter is annoying as feck though?
William Thompson is literally sound as a pound. Been in his company due to friends of friends and he was a really decent lad. Ciaran is a good watch, we've tickets for the SSE in November for an early Christmas work night. Empire's a preferable since we "grew up". Started out in Mandela Hall watching Barry the blender.
B is trying to find something to talk about and wanting to remain relevant! Gagging for a mention so she can use it as a material because full on Millie doesn’t sell for wrongThe oh was watching mudblood podcast and ur melter bronagh diamond gave us a mention to be fair it’s be dead on here any craic lads and ladies
Total agree with this. I’m a westie and I know paddy. Not gonna say how but ur 100% right he’s so far up his own. Repeats a lot of material. I think it’s one of them things were people find the “smick westie” hilarious and “ ohh he’s mental” I could think of at least 20 people whow are worse than him.B is trying to find something to talk about and wanting to remain relevant! Pulled that out of context.

Hi paddy
I mentioned it
This is the exact sentence
And NO it’s not for the lame
‘people don’t like to see others doing well’
That borenagh suggests
And I said it because of the way you have been showboating recently. And your tone can come across as very condescending as a result.
Or maybe it’s just part of being 199% westie
