I cringed when Shane and Andrew Ryan did the podcast with Meghan O’Neill 🤣😂 I bet they won’t do that again

I used to work in the same field as Conor Keys and Ronan Boyle so crossed paths with them a few times in a professional capacity before either of them were known for comedy. Can only say good things about both of them.

I’ve seen Conor live and agree that he’s underrated but given that he also has a full time job and with his personal situation at home, can see that comedy is a distraction for him rather than a career and he understandably hasn’t got the time to invest into developing it into more.

Who was good? I want to see McCarney but I've never been to any stand up so no idea who's good or not, without podcasts etc
I really liked Aaron McCann and Mark McCarney. Mickey Bartlett was great too - I saw him at the Comedy Roast and he wasn't great so was pleasantly surprised.

Colin Geddis was on at the start and the crowd were still a bit cold so unfortunately I think that made a difference.

Diona Doherty just isn't my type of comedy at all. Awful.

Geddis said on one of his podcasts that he died on his a at SSE. I like him and enjoy his podcasts for the most part but I don’t rate his stand up at all.

He was basically the warm up act so it was probably a very different experience than he was used to at the SSE. Wouldn't say he died but he wasn't the best of the bunch.

I saw recently he cancelled a whole load of his shows in February.

Ohh wonder why he’s cancelled them

She’s also got a part in blue lights
I think the podcast Is out tomorrow should be worth a listen

I wonder what's going on with Ciaran Bartlett? I just saw he's pulled out of playing the charity match for the Giants this weekend. And he doesn't seem to be doing stand up at the minute.

Awk that’s sad to hear. I thought maybe him and his wife were trying for a baby. It’s been mentioned in podcast. He’s s great act such a shame. Hope he’s ok

He was unwell last year and was taking a career break to rest and recover.

His Patreon shut down last month.

I hope he is OK, mentally and physically. He's probably my favourite of all of them. There's something about him that you just want to see him do well.
