And peach melbas. We may live in the region that every PM tries to wipe out but my god, our food 😂.

The day Greggs makes a parmo will be the best day ever. Obvs Gateshead Greggs won’t be allowed said parmos😘.
see I grew up in the ‘boro, many a night out in madisons, centrefolds, blaises etc.

never, ever did I hear about, or consume a “parmo”. There was usually a burger van outside wherever or it was chips on the way home.

20 years after I leave suddenly parmo’s are some specialty that have been around for ever?

gaslighting mats.

a fadgie now, they’ve forgotten about them. College/work staple of a lunch time.

I'm Southern and I have absolutely no idea what you lot are talking about!
Oh you aren't fluent in Northern!
A stottie is a artisanal bread, hand kneaded by G.R Eggs, a signature crust with an aerated centre, sour dough loaf adjacent.
Traditionally paired with a split pea hummus and ham terrine.

I miss the Greggs bread pudding, a delicacy only found down south and missing in action after Dcovid :(

I need to employ the services on MN. You know how many of them claim they can SMELL a woman is about to start her periods before she does?!

Well I've had almost a year of gynaecology issues, lots of tests and scans, and whilst doctors have identified issues they can't find the cause. Am hoping a mumsnetter can take a sniff and let me know. Please!!

No need.

I can tell from here.

You either shave/wax your lady parts or you don't. Don't deny it. You're doing one of these things and you need to stop, or possibly start, now.

Nothing to add about tying hair up for a poo, colourblind husbands, scratch and sniff vaginas, but I do want to offer my condolences to all of you who have never tasted the delights of a stottie cake.

My first husband tried to argue they were a form of ciabatta, that marriage didn’t last long, should have known better than to marry a southerner

I mean yeah sometimes the poo is that big it stimulates the vagus nerve and it makes you sweaty and nauseous and you have to strip off it’s that bad (at home not in public toilets EWWW) but that is an odd thing to admit to the internet 🧐

Definite cause to LTB! 😉
I am married to a Southern one, he loves stotties and found a place that will post stotties anywhere in the UK-redeemed himself!
He has drawn the line at chips and gravy and will not even entertain the idea of mushy peas.
