Sorry I just think it's a bit pot kettle to moan about someone eating less by saying you should eat more. Neither is something to encourage or brag about.

We're all different, how much you eat isn't a mark of how fun or great a person you are.
Who are you talking to? I have no idea. You quoted part of my post and twisted it when I mentioned nothing about eating.
Actually don’t worry.

People get trapped being dependent and people without children lose out.

I 100% agree, just because you don't have kids you still need to pay housing etc ffs!
Absolute fucking joke people don't just get given help to live regardless of the fanny gremlins x

They post shit like this. Heres a picture of me. How old do you think I am and do you think my make up looks expensive? Kind responses only please.

Crazy Clown Emoji Square Sticker
lol this reminds of a poster who every couple of months posts pictures saying how old do you think i am/ what do I need doing?

everyone always blows hot air up her arse saying she looks 30-35 when she clearly doesn’t.

Has anyone seen the thread on MN about someone wanting to make a Hinch hamper for their sister? Tattle gets a mention as ‘vile’, before the thread descends into posters calling each other wankers and cunts. The irony!
🤣 sounds like a certain PBP and her gang.

Weirdly they all seem to despise their organically fed, IQ busting mastermind sporting/music prodigy children too. And mother in laws 😂

People on MN never answer their door! You aren’t allowed to visit their new babies, regardless of your relationship to the family, you’ve to wait til the kids about 6 before you can see them, all gifts are tat, everyone is a ‘narc’ and they all suffer from MH issues, mostly anxiety…that just about covers every post on it!
You're not allowed to visit their new babies but they complain and 'go nc' if you don't 🤣

I’ve been wracking my brain to think of *any* hot man over 40 I’ve ever worked with and I’m struggling. The exceptions are very very big dogs in media (who arguably straddle the bridge between public figure in their own right and company X employee?) who are clearly getting tweakments and facials etc, and gay men. Straight middle aged men age like milk in the sun because they’re too arrogant to do anything & I don’t think the mumsnet huns’ stash of Elemis can reverse their tragic fate.
I can think of one - a very nice, nicely dressed, down to earth senior lawyer I used to work for. He used to canvas for the Labour Party in his spare time, so it might have just been the fact he cared about people other than himself that made him attractive to be honest 😂.

Otherwise they mostly seem middle aged before their time. Like the women in the Mumsnet outfit threads.

And fish pie mix so my sister was telling me earlier. That’s £3-4.99 which is expensive if you’re on a budget.

Some of them really don’t live in the real world. Poor to some mumsnetters means living off your savings for a while or putting the Ocado/Waitrose groceries on the credit card, they’ve never experienced how demoralising and soul crushing it actually is and lying awake at night, how you’re going to afford to pay the gas bill and the kids need new school shoes but you can’t afford both.

It said its got 1% dalmatian in it 😂
I don't believe anyone saying put the dog down would do it themselves.
I was suprised at how many posters just told her to plead ignorant about the pit bull in it and claim it's part Lab. These are the same people who usually get their knickers in a twist over their neighbours yappy dogs and think all dogs are evil and can't be trusted! You just know that if that dog attacked someone they'd all come down on the OP like a ton of bricks and say she should have had it put down if she'd had any inkling of its parentage!

Tattle is much nicer than Mumsnet. The atmosphere is far nicer and it’s less as someone said “Mean girls”
I used to post in the bereavement & mental health forums- always had supportive responses. It was larger though so felt more anonymous. On another forum I'm on I got to know the people better because it was just the same 10 posting daily and you could feel like you knew them better. Here I've noticed something similar- different topics same posters.

I remember the garlic bread thread. So many saying they'd share one baguette between a family of 4 or 5. As far as I'm concerned it's one each or nothing

Random sample of mumsnetters talking about how many people one standard sized garlic baguette would serve
Haha, I can eat one to myself with pizza and pasta. They would be gone red in the face with such bad dietary decisions.

You also forget that mumsnetters can make a months worth of dinners and lunches from one chicken.

Did the OP come back to that thread to let us know what she ordered online on Saturday night? It's in active currently and can't be bothered scrolling through it

God yes. They are also so snobby about places like Primark, when for a lot of people it’s all they can afford. They’d hate me as most of my clothes comes from there, Shein, New Look, F&F@Tesco, George@Asda etc. Ideally I’d love to shop more sustainably but just can’t justify the cost! You’ll see a thread from someone asking where they should get nice work clothes from and they’ll say Mint Velvet (I’m sure MN has shares in that place as they recommend if so often) or Jaegar, but those places are so fucking expensive and out of the range of most normal people. They really have no clue. The financial privilege is off the scale, and yes I agree that they are nearly always frumpy as hell when you see the photos of them.
We shop in all the same places. I love Primark for me and the kids. I also look a lot more fashionable than 90% of the frumpy mums I meet, who appear to have kids and then start shopping exclusively in Jules, fat Face and white stuff.

Just had a nosey at the what you wearing thread. I actually underestimated how dull, frumpy and unfashionable they are.

I am bias because I'm still a bit punk at heart, but do you really need to dress like your gran in your 30s because your a mum now.

I bet some of them can be demanding princesses too. There was a thread recently asking what things you do to annoy someone and there were some charming posters who did some truly nasty things to their husbands that the posters would be told were abusive if the shoe was on the other foot.

Also another thread was calling men Neanderthals - again if that was anything else the thread would have been taken down and deleted.

A lot of them were FB friends, when the claxon went off, you had no chance.
Yeah and a lot of them reappear when they’re mentioned on the ‘which posters do you miss?’ licky arse threads. HullyGully was another MN Royalty bitch who regularly pops up on those threads, which makes me wonder if they just hang about waiting to be name checked.
