I thought it was really peculiar that Lee did the food shop on Rebecca's birthday...when he really could have gone any other day considering their both home 24/7 🤔 I would hate to think my partner would prefer to do the food shop on my birthday instead of spending it with me 🤷🏼‍♀️
Bet he forgot to buy Princess a cake.

Poppy says clear as day in tonight's vlog: "Bertie just bit my face". She's really upset and it looks sore.

What the duck are these clowns playing at?? Train your horse and look after your daughter!
Yes! She definitely did...Just watching it now and rewound it twice to hear it and that's exactly what she says and Pat says shes in the wars.

I thought this too! Blows out the candle on her own cake. As a mum, surely you let the kids do it?
Well no...to be fair i'd blow my own bleeping candles out too! haha (but, i'd relite them and let the kids have a go)

I can't believe they put out that video. It's utter pish. Probably one of the worst ever. Rebs shovelling food in her face talking to camera. Kids filming. 🙄
Content is tit, editing is awful. Last bit he's filming the sound quality is crap.

Lastly if it's tropics she's using on her face just now it doesn't look great on her.

She clearly can’t be bothered at all now with YouTube or Instagram. Why doesn’t she call it a day? The so called content they are both putting out is pitiful, if she does still want brand work she is doing nothing to attract it

My 4 year old has additional needs and struggling to focus on anything for more then a few moments and then it gets ripped or scribbled over. As much as I want to teach her things she just doesnt want to and I'm at the end of my tether with it... I feel like such a crap mum when I see all these influencers doing so well with home schooling/ baking / cycle rides etc...
Please don’t feel crap . I’m a teacher , and mum of three. I have a four year old . In some countries they won’t even have started school . Even when they are at school four year olds education is very much play based and child led . Follow their lead ...if they want to scribble over everything make that the activity..can you scribble over the wall in chalk ? What does you scribble look like (like finding animals in the clouds except in scribbles !) make it messy , make it loud but don’t ever feel pressured or crap . I bet you’re doing amazing! Xx

She’s lovely little girl. I just watched her say Bertie bit her face, the dog goes one way, pat just stands there and says do you want some good food, bleeping head. Dog needs to be told there and then naughty boy, even when he’s digging at the chair, he’s being asked does he want cuddles and she just sits there doing duck all. I don’t think it will be long and the dog will disappear. I know pups are nippy but you have to show them you’re in charge, doesn’t look like much of that going on!
Totally agree.
my mums friend has rehomed her year old cockerpoo due to resource guarding issues
The dog may be brilliant off the lead but they need to put more training into other areas.

But that takes effort and commitment

Most boring vlog ever....

Letting the kids have the camera to film is just god awful.

Poppy 100% says “Bertie just bit my face” - sorry but how long is it going to be before that dog seriously hurts her?? He’s a dog. He’s an animal. He is very very very capable of seriously hurting her or worse. I’m honestly just baffled by the utter lack of care these idiots show for the safety of their children.
They aren’t responsible enough to be dog owners. Having a dog and looking after it properly are not the same thing. That dog needs proper training and discipline, and he should not be left along with the children - no dog should ever be left alone with children.

I can’t see them keeping Bertie long term. She will soon be bored of him and once the novelty has worn off he will be re-homed, just like the cat they had, just like the guinea pigs.

Creasing that lee got her earrings 2 years on the bounce!!!! So much thought went into that present!!!! 😂😂😂😂😂😂

Just following on from the training issue. The horse was well trained from the previous owner, so seems that they’ve not done much at all with him apart from buy a whistle. Standard behaviour. Sit and expect it all to fall in ones lap.

Why is she editing in her eating and talking with her mouthful?!
Has she no manners?
Did Karen not teach her how to behave?
So sophisticated and ladylike, shovelling in what looked like pork scratchings and tapping away, spitting out crumbs and giving us a shot of her chewed up food 🤢🤢🤢

Agree with this! Bertie needs to be properly trained, not shrieked at constantly
. If anything she encourages his biting. I seem to remember a bizarre story where he was biting Rebecca’s pyjama bottoms and she was half heartedly saying ‘no’ but she was delighted she got to flash her pants when Bertie kept pulling them down. 🤢

So irresponsible to not have him disciplined and trained properly, especially as they have young children.

Has Bertie not been returned to the breeder once before? Hope they buck up their ideas, poor dog. He also looks a complete mess and needs a bath and groom.

Rebecca’s lack of commitment and effort with the dog is so annoying! I would love to be able to have a dog but due to work and where I live it’s not fair on the dog for me to have one. I also can’t afford the upkeep for food, insurance, grooming etc. She’s so lucky to be able to have a dog and isn’t even bothering to train it 😡 He’s clearly going to be a big dog so could do some serious damage.

Anyway, rant over. I’m off for a HOT cup of coffee 😂

We’ve got an 8 month Cockapoo puppy (annoyingly also called Bertie - but pronounced correctly 😜) and he was such hard work to start with but we have worked so hard with him in regards to training (we’ve done all the pre look down classes and socialisation things a puppy needs) and grooming (he has been going to a groomers since 13 weeks for puppy grooms to get him used to that) that we now have a lovely, still very bouncy, affectionate and well trained puppy!

I think they expect him to just know how to behave and it just happens... if they don’t start sorting it soon it will be untrained and not well behaved for life!

I cannot understand how Beggy gets ANY brands to work with her?? I know shes not for a while but she obviously thinks she’s still a top influencer! Obvs there’s the whole racism thing to start with but that aside, shes puts no effort in, is totally unprofessional and it’s blatantly obvious she can’t actually be bothered and just wants the freebies. I mean this is not a “hoppy” we all know that but surely any idiot (except her apparently`) could see that ship has sailed and it isn’t coming back round anytime soon. She could have used this time to reinvent her channel with homeschool resources etc, family activities to do at home even puppy training videos!! There’s so much she could do but shes so so lazy why does she expect any brand to work with her?! Is she still working with Whalar? If I were them I’d drop her like a hot potato cos shes so idle.

Listen on from about 1 minute in the new YouTube video and Lee is definitely shouting something to the kids about going to see Grampy so chances are they did have folk round for her birthday. Why does she feel they’re exempt from the rules. no pint clapping for the NHS for show then disobeying the rules 🤦🏼‍♀️

She definitely cant be arsed can she. Also, does the horse not need more exercise, thats why its a bit hyper? Ir is that just puppy high jinks that need training? I would not be happy at the dog nipping my (or any) 2 year olds face. Yes, probably didnt mean it but even still, a much loved family dog is still an animal. There is a reason why the advice is never to leave animals with children alone together. A boisterous horse puppy and a boisterous 2 year old is just asking for trouble. And somehow i think poppy would be blamed🙁

I think the reason the vlog has her munching away (I don't watch them so going off what you bastards are saying) could be due to her eating habits /relationship with food being discussed here.

As for the dog and poppy I noticed on one of her stories the other week of them playing with the bubbles (do you like the bubbles burrtaaay) he ran best poppy and she looked terrified. They need to train both Bertie and poppy really.

I'm surprised there's not more uproar about Bertie biting poppy's face tbh 😔 poor little girl.
He's a puppy, they nip, you have to correct that behaviour. All dogs can turn though, even the best trained dogs can snap if scared/shocked.
And these 2 clowns do nothing!!
Honestly, I can see a bad accident happening and the dog been re-homed.(not his fault!)
Personally, I think getting a dog for the first time when you have young children poppy's age is madness. I'd have waited until she was a bit older and could understand more the rules and training needed in place with a dog. Especially if you happen to be a pair of selfish, lazy cocunts like the Meldrums.

Where did poppy say he bit her?
It's not the 1st time is it.
Reb just laughs when poppy is naughty and she does same with bertay boy.
She's so inconsistent.

I have always been a dog lover and wants a dog for a long time.
We can't get rescue as have a young child.
Before we rented house and landlord said no.
We have freinds and family with dogs and puppies they said they gorgeous but never easy.
So her saying he's easy is a lie.
We are quite hectic term time school runs and activities lot of in and out.
We brought forward our plans for getting a puppy from end next year to now.
Some might judge but puppies born around lockdown still need a home and we will never have as much time to devote train and settle a puppy as now.
My toddler still doesn't sleep through the night.
We almost doing everything reverse of what meldrums are doing.
They like how not to be responsible pet owners.
Been researching vets. Have life time and high level of cover pet insurance.
Also getting a vet monthly plan.
Found great independent vets and groomers and signed up for online puppy training.
Finding you tube great too.
We are cage training and we don't live in mansion like meldrums but we have 2 living rooms.and fairly large house/ large fully enclosed garden.
Our rules are he's never left unattended with the kids.
He's set feed times and play times out of his cage.
He naps in cage. Is in cage overnight and eventually if we ever go out.
He's not allowed upstairs.
He sleeps in his cage or his bed.
He cannot go walks right now as needs more vaccinations.
He has set times feed and play times.
He will eventual have set time for walks.
It's all about building routine and consistency.
I mostly keep toddler one 2nd lounge watching tv as she's bit nervous with him.
The front living room is cool and quiet.
U leave tv on low keep him company and we leave him to rest or sleep in his cage and pretend we almost gone out.
Building up time he's left as last thing we want after lockdown is a clingy badly behaved dog.
As soon as lockdown ends he will have regular grooming sessions and classes.
Spent small fortune pets at home they been super helpful.
I just don't get what she does other than recklessly walk him before all his jabs.
Walk him in areas with ticks.
Not groom him and leave him unsupervised with kids.
Finding which brand of food a minefield.
We waited years we researched and we knew how much it would cost around 50 to 60 a month with pet plan and food and toys plus grooming.
We can easily afford that and paid the pet insurance up front.
I still don't think pat loves him. It was never a family decision and getting a dog is life changing for the whole family.
Safaya and Florence are still too young be left unsupervised.
I feel really sad for him all she wanted was the photo ops and attention.
She gets easily bored.
Any sheep who are experienced dog lovers must be questioning her.
Why are parents walking him if pats home.
I think bertay mist be crossed standard poodle as he's huge for a puppy.
Cockapoos are cute but they high maintaimce breed they need regularly grooming and need a lot of exercises considering they small dogs although I guess they medium sized dogs.

I'm surprised there's not more uproar about Bertie biting poppy's face tbh 😔 poor little girl.

I have a few freinds with puppies and small children it can work if they responsible and both committed.
Part reason we took plunge is my kids lot older senior school and upper ks2 so are responsible and will in tjme be able to walk the dog and help look after him it's defiantly a team effort of getting them involved teaching kids what to do and supervising them together.
They have large house and grounds th dog could easily have his own room to separate.
Also there's no need to go walks woods all time.
Pat is home 3 weeks at time. Plenty time go groomers or classes pre Lock down.
It's hard work having young kids and puppy I was under no illusions it's not it's like having 2 toddlers.
I fear kids safety and they will give him up.
Maybe they expected classes and grooming to be gifted and that's not happened.
