No I understand they didn’t pay. It ‘sold’ for £590,000. Am sadly tempted to pay the land registry charge to see who the owner is....
In Scotland unless the home is paid for in cash , your mortgage would then have to be borrowed through a bank / building society for property so they own the house until your mortgage is fully paid off then they release the title deeds . So basically you're only renting it until you've paid back what you've borrowed . Your name is only on the property for voting , receiving mail etc .
They must of viewed 20+ houses but this seemed to be their dream home as they had to put numerous offers on the house as they kept offering well under the asking price . From leaving a part buy part rent council property to a 600k £ property and struggled to get a mortgage I think that 's when Daddy Cannon came to the rescue . If and when her YouTube career ends her attitude will be i have mega inheritance money coming my way , that's why he's sticking around like a bad smell
and if he falls out with Daddy C he's well f?????

I had no idea it was different.
I knew house buying process different missive, hard to pull out of accepted offers and seens to be more a firm time schedule.
They must have the deeds surely if they placed the large deposit equity that lee said they had.
I dont understand how quite exactly.
Lee owned a flat he made small amount equity when sold.
Him and reb around 5 years ago get 60%share in a council shared owner ship house.
Lee claims he overpaid the mortgage.
For ease of numbers say old house was 1000 a month.
I assume they had no top up rent charges.
Over 5 years that 60k mortgage paid.
I assume like England interest is paid 1st.
Also that they have repayment mortgage
Maybe they made some equity if house prices rose a lot in last 5 years.
But they spent a fair bit converting garage into 4th bed and snug plus new kicthen same year they moved and lee said that wiped out their savings.
Hazarding a guess they put 90k down and had 500 k mortgage that there monthly payments are £1800 to 2k a month before bills council tax life insurance/buildings and contents.
Its quite possible they have 3 to 4k a month going out just on basic things like mortgage food cars ect.
Yet pat still claims hes over paying at the new house.
Reb says they cant afford some basic things in living room yet they cab afford a new kitchen.
They deleted the we brought the house.
They never did say when mortgage was refused how they sorted it.
Whats common in england is to get a mortage in principle you then find a property make an offer to do full mortgage application and survey of the property and the amount they said they would lend decreased by a grand.
I know Scotland have home buyers reports does that mean they dont do full structural survey as that would have picked up the damp.
Katie ellision said she negotiated discount as the whole house needed new windows.
It didn't feel to me the meldrums drove a hard bargain.
