Whilst my kids kill one another post bath time ive been pondering about what’s next for old Soph.
I don’t believe for a second she wants to “stop being famous”. She loves the photo shoots and interviews too much. She loves the fame. We all know that.
But now she’s “told her story” about the nasty trolls, what can she do? She can keep harping on about it - which will be ok for a little while but not long before even the hard core hinchers get bored/see through it all. Or she can ignore the “trolls” and crack on with her empire. But we know she won’t do that. She is obsessed with the fact that she can’t control that there’s this large group of people (that will only grow larger) who are just done with her crap.
So she will unravel herself. Today was the beginning of her downfall. And whilst she’s slugging cheap Prosecco under the pergola tonight with mum and jaymay thinking she’s untouchable the reality is she’s massively destroyed her brand today. She’s got nothing left to say now. She rambled it all out in one big incoherent mess. She’s boring. She hasn’t got anything else to say or do.
she will cling on for a bit longer. It can’t be that much longer unless she completely rebrands herself as someone who doesn’t care about trolls or anxiety etc.
Whilst I’m here I will say that what has angered me the most about her spitting troll constantly is she hasn’t once presented a solution to her problem. She hasn’t once said “this is what I want to do about trolls - I want to help others - particularly young people who feel the pressures of social media etc”. Nothing. It’s all been one big whine. I used to be a a manger and I would say to my team by all means come to me for a moan but come ready to find a solution too. Where’s her solution?
