I popped onto Waterstones to see what the book reviews were like after it came out, and it had 2* I think, and one of the comments referred to Tattle. Never heard of tattle before. However prior to all of that I was starting to get fed up with all the swipe ups and thought something was off.

This is exactly my problem with this “cleaning to help anxiety thing”. Yes, I have a clean and reasonably tidy home (I have 2 small children - it’s never tidy!!) and it helps to keep on top of cleaning so it doesn’t feel like a mountain. But honestly, she’s “cleaning” a spotless house and making vulnerable people feel as though they need to live up to that expectation. It’s crazy

I do agree I have anxiety and when my house is clean it gives me some calm. I also suffer from panic attacks and when I went for cbt I was told do not clean to avoid anxiety as it’s called avoidance and you are just creating a whole new beast to deal with. She has also ripped off the organised mum with the 30 min cleans etc. But the organised mum methods is actually good for ppl with anxiety and ocd as it teaches you balance. I just feel she is doing so much damage to people with mental health issues who are getting sucked in by her.

Did u notice that she started off saying she paid about a tenner for it... then she said it was £10 or £13 then said it was £13.99... I think she thinks if she starts off saying it’s ONLY about a tenner people will rush off and buy it rather than her saying straight away the actual price as it will probably sound too much to her target audience, but start low then just add a couple of quid to it and it doesn’t sound so bad.... hope that makes sense lol

This is one of the main reasons why my eyes were opened!!! She is a fake If everything is gifted then she shouldn’t advertise for her “hinchers” to spend their money on things. I can’t believe how many of her things are gifted. It’s so unrealistic. Out of curiosity I looked at the link for her blinds when I was shopping about for new blinds and they are expensive. You can get the same thing from Dunelm for half the price. I feel a lot of people are going to go into debt trying to keep up.

Could someone please explain the subtext of the whole her being from Essex thing to me (not from the UK)? Ie, what does being an Essex resident mean/the stereotypes and stuff like that.
