Don’t both parents have to be key workers? Otherwise why would she need to be in school if one parent is working. Not sure what her husband does for a living though .If she’s an nhs worker, then her daughter will be at school as she’ll fall under the child of a key worker category
We used to have a spare bed, I left it made with the same sheets as the day we bought it for about 3 years. Nobody ever stayed, so we put the bed on Freecycle and now have a joint office in bed 2 and then a dressing room in bed 3. I don't do guests that sleep overyeah but last week she was showing him sleeping in the spare room instead of his room, but she hasn’t for a while so maybe that’s what the poster meant...also she did show herself changing the sheets and everything the other day, maybe it was in preparation for Ma Barker’s arrival.
we’ve never had a spare room, out of curiosity do people generally keep it guest ready or just do it up if they know someone’s coming? I know a couple of people who do keep theirs looking immaculate at all times with regularly changed sheets, fairly sure if I ever have a spare room I will be too lazy for that (also, crucially, I do not want any guests)
