They think it may have been circulating for years, it has mutated to a certain extent and may have been put down to other conditions until it was flagged recently.
That does sound likely. A lot of the monkeypox symptoms are similar to ailments that came with covid . People were reporting skin complaints during the pandemic, occasionally.

People recover and then never think anymore of it . There are probably several other viruses around too.

Black death!
The pustules do look just like black plague - you'll know it's monekpox though if you get a craving for bananas and start flinging your own shit at passing people. All we need now is the four horsemen to the apocalypse to appear in the clouds.

Isn’t that my point ! we don’t send kids to school with these illnesses on advice of public health, even impetigo isn’t acceptable.
My point is we don’t isolate the whole class, we only keep the sick one at home. Most of the time with chickenpox, children mix before they know they have it. Most of the time slapped cheek is spread before they know they have it, no one stays off for a coldsore unless it’s accompanied by other symptoms. Fact is you can’t stop a virus in its tracks if you could they wouldn’t exist now. Best you can do is keep the sick one off and treat their symptoms.

Side by side articles of Monkeypox and the possible 3 week isolation period but bam.. there’s Boris being exposed for more rule breaking - they want to remind everyone that Boris broke the rules the last time. Nobody will listen.

Isnt that the exact way the virus gets out in 28 days later.

They say that films are made to foreshadow "their" plans so they can claim they told us . 😱🙀🧐
These experiments should be carried out in the middle of the desert miles from civilisation not being driven on the highway .

That’s nice 🙄

There doesn't seem to be a 'trustworthy' source (such as BBC) covering this part but it's interesting as:

I remember I read this article and knew straight away that sex was going to play an important part in this

I've also seen articles mention the sexuality of people who have tested positive for it which feels a bit weird, we never did it for COVID after all

The pictures don't look good but they make it look more doom and gloom for news clicks I guess

Is it found in fruit and veg ? I thought it was only meat (especially bush meat) that wasn't cooked properly .
Don’t think it is, and I guess the food would have to be from the parts of Africa it’s found so I think it’s unlikely it’s being spread by food? Seems more plausible it would be from someone unknowingly being at a big event or something.

It’s all a bit strange and I know ill sound like a conspiracy theorist but somethings very strange that western countries are being affected by this straight after a huge vaccine roll out of 3-4 vaccines. Maybe all this over sanitisation of everything is making viruses spread easier now that things aren’t cleaned as sterile as they had been for the past 2 years.

Can we have a other lockdown?

Lockdown 2022 : MonkeyPox Edition
This time with free cheesecake for all. No clapping for the NHS, clapping for solicitors and legal profession instead.
Laws are introduced, but they're very much optional.
And every one isn't allowed to gather at all whilst gathering to drink copious amounts of PG tips.
Vaccines out next year. Side effects include: Constant and unending erections in males.
Swollen breasts in females.
And everyone talks like a pirate, me hearties.
