Simon’s Japan trip - I don’t felt the slightest bit sorry for him, flights and tickets would have cost an arm and a leg (#gifted), however it did strike me as sad that he has nobody to go to enjoy the experience with. He clearly likes socialising and is making friends in random bars!? It almost seems that his Instafame has put him into a wealth bracket above his friends/acquaintances/siblings and now he gets to enjoy the perks... alone. ‘New money’ can be a lonely place to be.

So he begged for a ticket to rugby in Japan and someone responded. It just happened to coincide with his business trip to Manila. He was already away from home so Clammy letting him go there wasn’t such a hardship. Or, maybe he already had a ticket to go there as it appears he’s paying for the hotel pod himself.
He must have had it all planned due to the story where he magically whisked himself off from the family home.

I don't follow him but I hope he bought the ticket himself and enjoyed time away. I'm sure his girls appreciated less filming.
They're both extremely sad, and I do feel a bit sorry for them, because something is clearly missing in all their lives that they have to spend so much time preparing and sharing photos all for their strangers following them on the grid! They are trolls themselves calling out anyone who disagrees with them. Plus, that much planned deceitfulness isn't good for anyone, so many white lies and manipulating people hiding their freebies, gifts or collaborations from their followers surely isn't good for the soul either. They tell themselves it's tiring, they don't know the rules, it's a previous paid partnership, press trip, whatever, but it's really all just lies and manipulation of the truth, on a daily basis to hundreds a d thousands of people. Only dark souls are capable of doing that and being okay with it.
I think he was there for business and managed to get the ticket (gifted). If I read this thread correctly. He did go to the match alone though.
Agreed, they portray a very empty life. In reality their life must be jam packed but it always comes across as dull.
I’ve read it as he was over there and so decided to go to Japan for the match because the time/financial cost was lower then coming from the U.K.? I know when I’ve been away for business we’ve been allowed to extend our trips, and the company would give us the money for the return leg of the flight and we’d cover the rest? I used to go to San Diego a lot for work, and explored a lot of the West Coast off the back of those trips
I have used business trips to travel further afield as well. I don’t think you can knock him for that. If he’s a rugby fan then going to the World Cup in Japan alone wouldn’t be a hardship. I don’t think you can knock him for that either. It might have been a bit more fun with friends but I’m sure the atmosphere was fab anyway.
I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s trying to get in with rugby PR officials to get future freebies...
I still think he has a weak chin, crap dress sense, his relationship on the rocks and I really can’t bare that he posts pictures of his kids to sell random tech.

Explaining what the deal is makes the ad stuff less irritating straight away. And she's at least written a blog post for the #pressdiscount which makes sense. When MOD does it I don't understand how she could ever be considered press.

MP and Selfish Mother were journalists and are really good at clearly communicating that they are selling products. You can really tell the ODs are not writers and couldn’t give a toss about their followers. So sly...
Yeah, my team get very little notice on some trips.
Tenner says Clem has been at her Mother’s all weekend because she doesn’t want to be alone with the kids and the dog.

I'm not a fan of them anymore, but I am glad he's done something he enjoys for a change! We constantly see MOD doing what she wants, going where she wants, vacations alone. So good on him for going to watch the Rugby, if it was gifted then atleast it isn't just for the money, it's an actual interest
