Thread suggestion:

let’s just talk about soap
loooool I love this one. I’m also completely defeating the object of a vote by laughing and responding to every post, sorry guys...

I can tell you one thing though that granny room 100% stinks of soap

I sent girl from primary school with 505k followers on facebook flowers because I dreamt of her crying. There's nothing I can do but I hope it makes her smile.

I also saw on bloom & wild they have an olive tree. Has anyone had one? I dream to be an apartment gardener one day.

RE soap. I used my an old bottle of Morning moringa from the body shop today. I'd recommend it but my bottle is maybe 3+ years old so most of the smell had faded.

He's only got 252 followers left to go before we hit 91k!

I had an olive tree from M&S outside our front door step and it thrived, it needed a lot of watering tho (it died when I was in hosp for 3 weeks). I used to put old loose leave tea (dried and cooled obvs) onto the soil, not sure if that helped or was just me making work for myself?

I’ve got a Lemon tree in the kitchen that just grows tit tons of leaves and the stalk has gotten significantly taller, not seen a lemon on it since we brought it home!

That’s a lovely thing you did 💚
I have two huge olive trees in pots and they’re the easiest of plants to look after-they thrive in the sunshine and do love water.
Do become an apartment gardener 😊

Oooo I'd like to add that to my list, but maybe a dwarf variety for indoors. I've got one more year here so I haven't bought any new plants as I'd have to lug it back on a plane. Then two more years for training then hopefully I'll buy my own place. Going to start small with a succulent first!

This site is like : plantpornformums ofc.

My whatapp picture is actually of a lemon tree. It looks so lovely, pricey though for £28 per plant at Homebase. I've read online you can use the lemon leaves for meat before baking or adding to olive oil so maybe you can get some use of it that way.

I was also watching a documentary about Japanese Bonsai trees- they're so beautiful.

We had a beautiful olive tree in our old house that we had to leave behind when we moved - I grieved for it when we had to leave it! 😂

Apologies in advance for derailing the thread, but just wanted to say a big massive thank you to @Treeofforgiveness and her amazing kindness in sending me a Pilea cutting - how lovely is she?! It’s now safely in a pot on my windowsill ❤ 🌿
And they think Tattle is a seething nest of vipers, how wrong they are ...!
I’d like to second this! Mine is safely on the windowsill also!

Oh yeah ours was definitely a dwarf variety, I don’t live on an estate with trees lining my drive 😂 I think that one was around £30 from M&S (I’m a huge fan of their plants section btw they always thrive) but was too tall for me to comfortably carry home so I waited for my husband to be there to buy it, so probably 2-3ish feet including pot?

Yesss our lemon tree was expensive and funnily from B&Q! It was DINKY though, like came with 3 lemons on that we didn’t eat cos I was scared of the rat wee from it being in a B&Q? You’ll be horrified to know I’ve been cutting off the leaves / branches cos it lives on our kitchen windowsill (soooo much light it grows so quickly) but I’ll use that in future thank you!!

This is making me want more indoor plants so badly! We have a garden that we’ve been attacking massively during this time, but I’m just not as into it as I am the indoors plants? We have a goooorgeous plum tree that I accidentally ruined (blokes came to trim it back, asked if I just wanted it cut back to where it was last time as it was a contactless job during covid I didn’t watch them do it or want to get that involved, assumed that’d be a trim... it’s been shaved right back, including all the beautiful blossom :/ husband devastated he loves sitting under the tree with a morning coffee). Also trying to grow wildflowers in the weird bit raised down the side of the lawn & making this plant patch the previous owner had as a bush and pretty bit into another lot of lawn.

I mean ultimately we all know that ur garden is just a dumping ground for the previous owner’s fittings and fixtures so I’m thinking of ripping the bath out to really finish it off??

He’s been quiet for the last couple of days - perhaps he’s licking his wounds at the lack of votes on his stupid straw poll and he’s also really embarrassed that everyone now thinks he doesn’t wipe. I would be 🤷🏻‍♀️

Maybe he’s leaving a gap so he can do another “we had corona” post

He must surely know by now that every time he post he haemorrhages followers.

Clinging on for dear life.
