It’s petrifying isn’t itI just read these screenshots, I was absolutely gripped! The house is silent so I was properly immersed in this story. Right at the end the washing machine suddenly kicked in and I really jumped!! Definitely going to check out that thread on Reddit
Not a problemThat sounds so fascinating, if it is not too rude a question, what qualifications do you need for that type of work.
I love Kendall Rae, her and her husband seem very down to earth. They also have a podcast they do together which is always a good listen. I find her videos are always well researched.Has anyone watched Kendall Rae? I watched her video on the zodiac killer and found she explained it well.
The zodiac killer gives me chills. I wish they had caught him. He could be dead or in his 70s/80s now but it's scary to know he could still be alive and out there still.
Kendall also did a video on the golden state killer too, I found it very informative.
It really is! I live in a very rural area and feel a bit freaked that this happenedIt’s petrifying isn’t it
If that's the case then then, why did nothing come to light when they searched the landfill site. . .Re Corrie McKeague - if the bin weight data is accurate, it seems obvious that he was in the bin that got taken to landfill and his remains are likely there. Am I missing something with this?
Side note, his dad said it was normal or common for Corrie to sleep in and on top of bins, which frankly seems insane to me - but the fact he has previous for doing this makes it more likely too!
Thankyou, I have always loved this type of stuff. Not a problem. You can volunteer at digs often, depending who is organising them (I have done digs with English Heritage to universities and contract work). Otherwise usually need a degree minimum to get paid work. Museums also have volunteers, so can get to work with collections and finds that way too. I ended up specialising in environmental after a few years doing bones. Anything else just ask.
That landfill site is over 100 acres. It’s absolutely huge. The search performed was small in comparison to its scale and the intelligence used to determine the areas for searching will not be 100% accurate. Also, if human remains were there they would be moved / scattered naturally over time by birds and other animals. It’s very sad but seems like the only logical outcome. If that's the case then then, why did nothing come to light when they searched the landfill site. . .
Oh I see, thanks for that. Yes it is very sad and the perpetrators will never get what they deserve, I hope it’s on their conscience 24/7That landfill site is over 100 acres. It’s absolutely huge. His dad has been quoted as saying he has done that before - got drunk then took shelter in a bin. I think in this case it has been a tragic accident that been complicated by slowness and errors in the first few weeks of investigating. If Biffa had accurately reported the weight of the lorry then the police would have followed that line of enquiry more diligently than they did and most likely would have had the answers that seem so far away now.I’m going off an earlier comment in the thread re the nightclub bouncer, may be totally embellished but I’d like to think he wasn’t that daft to go to sleep in a bin, but I guess we’ll never know
I think the poster is referring to Andrew Gosden. With the missing child who went to London. Look his case up there's loads of people who have covered itHow do I find these? I'm Intrigued by both.
I need to know what happened too! This case is so creepy and I always come back to itThe photos are so creepy. They must have been absolutely terrified.
If he got into the bin then there won’t be any perpetrators, it would have been accidental. People did wonder why he wouldn’t have slept in his car though, he was wondering around for hours and slept in a doorway too.Oh I see, thanks for that. I think it's a fair assumption to make about his remains likely to be in the landfill. A horrible tragedy.Re Corrie McKeague - if the bin weight data is accurate, it seems obvious that he was in the bin that got taken to landfill and his remains are likely there. Am I missing something with this?
