Missing people or murder cases you want to be solved

I’ve spent hours reading this whole thread. I’ve always been fascinated by true crime stuff, in particular missing people.

I didn’t know his name but recognise Andrew Gosden’s pic from the photo.

Claudia Lawrence stood out for me as I used to walk to work in the dark early mornings at the time like she did and it spooked me (although it’s nowhere near local to me).

I hadn’t heard of Charlene but that’s absolutely heartbreaking. As a parent it’s hard to get your head round other parents not protecting their children as you just assume everyone does like you do.

Rikki Neave is the one that stays in my mind. Poor wee soul my younger child is 6 and the thought of leaving her overnight on her own or her going out alone is just incomprehensible to me. His mother did not deserve that poor little boy. She didn’t murder him but her neglect meant others could. I googled recently & saw that they found who murdered him. May he rest in peace

Corrie case is baffling but the more I delve the more inclined I am to think foul play and some coverup. A lot goes on in the army and if there was anything related to that Im sure it will be covered up.
I hope the case gets a documentary on TV it really does need more coverage.

I have a few pages to catch up on so this may have already been mentioned, but he wasn't in the Army he was in the RAF. What is it that makes you think there's been a cover-up?

Not sure if this case has already been mentioned, but one that has always stuck with me is the tragedy of Kirsty Maxwell in Benidorm. She fell from the balcony, and a group of guys (she fell from their room) were arrested and then released.
Whether she jumped or was pushed I guess they’ll never know, but I feel that the guys know more than has ever been told. Really sad situation for her family and friends

I was in Benidorm just before Kirsty Maxwell died and remember it well. I think it was theorized that she sleepwalked into the men’s apartment, woke up and panicked because she didn’t know where she was and mistook the window for a door.

The family and PI don’t believe this to be the case. They think foul play was involved with at least one of the men in the apartment (but mostly like more than one). I think only one of the guys upstairs wasn’t involved in some way. I don’t think she was pushed but I think she was spooked and they didn’t help her - most likely for some malicious reason. It’s very sad, she seemed like a lovely girl.

He's not been tried yet - it was scheduled for October this year - yes, yes I have a trial calendar as well - but this was the last update....(I can't find an update on the hearing that was due to take place in June)

Is anyone familiar with the story of the girl who was found dead in the water container of a hotel in LA? I think her name was Elisa Lam. It’s a really interesting story, but as far as I know, there have never been any arrests, or any leads...
The other story that I was interested in, was about a girl who was found in the walk in freezer room of another hotel in the states. There was some interesting CCTV footage of both of these poor girls, and it seemed like they were both drunk, and being led somewhere by an invisible force... Very creepy indeed....

Agree with you, both cases are extremely strange and very creepy. Kenneka’s mum tried to force the hotel to release its security videos of the kitchen area where Kenneka died, and the camera footage shows just Kenneka stumbling towards the walk in freezer, and the weird thing is, it looks like she was being “guided” but there was only her in the video!!
And there were no security cameras in front of the freezer, so no one knows who or what led her to her death... If anyone can link any videos to either case I would be extremely grateful.

And after 2 weeks, the hotel finally investigated, and got a specialist team to look at the giant water tanks on the roof, and after opening the top of one of the tanks, they found Elise, who was floating face down and still wearing her clothes, and the reason that the hotel guests had been complaining about the water tasting funny, and being a weird colour, was down to Elise’s decomposing body in the water tank. The police are completely baffled as to how she managed to even get in the tank, as the opening is really really small. Also, there is video footage of Elise earlier on the night she dissapeared, she is acting really strange in a lift, and looks like she was hiding from someone. Also, just like in Kenneka’s case, it looks like an unseen person or force, was guiding her along a corridor in the hotel. Again- No leads, no witnesses, nothing. What really happened to these young women? It’s a mystery, that’s for sure.

I don’t think she was, I’ve seen the pics of her body that they released and she had her jeans and jacket still on but her top was kind of up, and she had one shoe on x

Do you mean Elise Lam, or Kenneka? Because Kenneka was definitely found with her clothes on, and this was pointed out by the people who found her body. Her clothes had definitely been tampered with, but as with Elise Lam, the police pointed out that neither of the victims had been sexually assaulted. So, back to Elise, I was sure that she had been found fully clothed..?!! But, like Kenneka, the CCTV from the hotel was very strange, with Elise acting strange and hiding in a lift from no one!! And then, just like Kenneka, Elise looked as if someone or something was “guiding” her along a corridor. That was the last time that Elise was seen alive, and again, just like Kenneka, there were NO witnesses at all !!! And both deaths happened in Hotels!! So where were all the guests and staff??
These cases are really really weird, there must be someone who knows something?? But, maybe they are too frightened to come forward??
