It all sounds very messy. I hope Sophie makes a good physical recovery can move past it all in time (as much as a person can on her situation).

me too, it looks like she has strong support from her mam sisters and other friends. It must have been horrific what she went through no matter how they ended up in that situation
This is really sad! Imagine if it was a woman.. we would be seeing it everywhere like we did with nicola bulley!!Evan Reid from Glasgow has been missing for nearly a week. He has just vanished. I find it so strange that it’s not been all over the news. He was last seen getting off the train (nowhere near his house or an area that he knows) agitated after texting his partner saying something “dodgy was happening” and that he needed the police. He’s vanished and hasn’t been seen since.

Agreed; his disappearance was so strange and he was so young. That poor family.
I don’t buy this, he took £200 out of his account and took his portable playstation with him - I think he was taking to someone in the platform who groomed him. If he wanted to end his life he could have just done it at home as he had the house to himself. Somebody out there knows what happened and maybe the police do but not enough to charge. There’s a lot of podcasts about him and it’s so so sad for the family, and obviously him x
I never seen any update from the police about the men they arrested last year in connection to him, was it something they found on their computers? They were released though

I don’t think it was confirmed but I thought it was made obvious by eve’s dads comments that it was rafel but reading that status i am confused again. I think if shane was driving they probably would have mentioned it in the status?
Exactly! This is why everyone is outraged up here in Scotland about it all. He still hasn’t been found. Just completely vanished.
Regarding Lisa Irwin, didn't they suspect the mum but just didn't have enough evidence to charge her? It's been many many years since I've read anything about that case though.

Yeah they did. I was never sure though.
Maybe he wanted things with him when he died? Or just in case he changed his mind. Even though I don’t believe that’s what happened it’s not outside the realm of possibility.

So heartbreaking, I can't imagine the agony of a year passing and thinking your partner has (possibly) tragically passed away in the wilderness and where are they...or is it something more extreme. He missed the birth of their second child, too.
I hope both families have answers soon.

This one is really strange, he was a bit of a survivalist, so would have known how to live out in the woods, the area he went missing has been searched lots and nothing found.
