@DevaVictrix I had a similar delivery to yours with my first. Took me a long time to come to terms with it and 6 years before I could have another. I thought I'd have to fight for an elective section but I was offered one at 37 weeks with a general. It did hurt, I can't lie. I sneezed 3 days after it and cried with the pain! Still, it was much easier to cope with than my first and I made sure that I took the recovery seriously. Hope that helps!

My bet on the name is Pearl!
Thank you

I am surprised to hear that they aren’t well off/in debt? I can’t imagine living that lifestyle without feeling guilty!

But so much of their stuff is gifted, I saw a tour of the flat and literally everything seemed to be. I think this is probably the case with a lot of these historically wealthy british families tbh

Yeah that is true actually! It seems crazy, surely they still have to have big money for huge mortgage, cars, baby, clothes etc

I fully recommend an elective if you think that is the best for your circumstances and past experience. For me I did not want to risk a VBac delivery. Not a chance, especially when they said oh the risks are uterine eruption (?). I had an emergency section the first time and then had an elective for my second. Hands down, it was an amazing experience. I can say I loved the birth, it was surreal and actually enjoyable - maybe I was just on a high (not a Millie high lol) for meeting my second baby. I was in for a week with my first as I had complications with the emergency but out the next evening for my second (having had the baby the previous morning). For my elective I had to have the catheter in for 24 hours (I assume this is normal but I read that some hospitals remove it sooner actually) and once they whip that out they want to keep you until you do a big old wee! The first time you edge yourself off the bed - I won’t lie it effing hurts! They encourage you to “walk” as soon as you can and if you move slowly and surely it’s the road to recovery! For weeks after I was tender and walking slowly. It hurts to laugh or sneeze and very tender to move off the bed. You still bleed loads vaginally too.
Everybody I know who has opted to have their next child by section has been pleased it all went well.

Back to Millie, I too presumed she was having a section since it just seemed too convenient that she signed off Insta on the Thursday saying bye for now, then was papped at the precisely the time they left for the hospital the very next morning. No shade at all, if she did she chose to and I don’t blame her as maybe she felt it safer during the pandemic. If she did I do hope she owns it and is proud. She does have a lot of followers and there’s nothing bad about opting for a section etc.

Wow I’m shocked to read she did a lot of drugs. But then when you say the rich kids do then it makes sense - they’re not that bright!

Thank you thank you for taking the time to write this. I appreciate it xx

Hugo put on his instastories a picture of a babybel. I might be reading too much into it, but I reckon the baby is called belle.

I feel like she’s going to come back on insta looking perfect, with no post baby big belly, and make any new mum feel like tit for being swollen, sore and bleeding. It’s her choice ofc to stay off it but it Gives a false impression of what those first few days/weeks are like.

Thank you thank you for taking the time to write this. I appreciate it xx
I had elective (had emergency on first as he was back to back and big) on my second (not allowed a natural where I live in Turkey as they want you to wait 4 years) Recovery was incredible! My sweet little Girl was in NICU for 5 days so perhaps I had other things on my mind (I had to hobble over road 5 times a day to Go feed her as they don’t let you stay in when your baby is admitted and we live an hour from hospital) but only time that was v bad was the night of my section and it was trapped wind 🤣 so get some lactulose right after you get back to your bed with your baby and you’ll be fine :) after that, paracetamol and ibuprofen was enough! It’s a totally different experience and was great, even in Turkey ;)

Has anyone seen the new pics of her in the daily mail today out with the baby.

Who is the woman she is walking with?? Does she live with her? If they are not from the same household they shouldn't be together surely?? or is this another person where the rules dont apply???
Had a quick skim and it says it's her manager. So pretty sure they shouldn't be out and about together. Haven't been able to see my mum in 2 months but it's OK she cna hang out with her manager.

Apparently from DM comments, she’s her manager. It’s disgraceful.
That lady was in the pics as Millie came out of hospital too. Maybe she’s been living with them before and since she’s been back from hospital? Perhaps her mum is shielding.. just speculating!

She’s definitely had some work done on her lips. They look awful! I’m also disappointed with her Pram choice. I thought she would Atleast gone with a bugaboo! 🙄

Not defending her yet again but I’ve seen friends who’ve had naturally plumped lips after giving birth. I think it’s a fluid retention thing.

probably! It looks secondhand! She shouldn’t be allowed to walk around Chelsea with that horrendous pram! It’s either uppababy or bugaboo witch!

Horrendous pram?! Hardly call a Mamas and Papas pram horrendous! 🤣
