It looks like she gave birth at a NHS hospital, you would've thought the amount of money they have they might've gone to The Portland Hospital, or St Mary's, it's amazing how tight rich people can be.
Chelsea and Westminster has a private area within the hospital so we don’t know whether she was on the nhs or not

I never imagined Millie to do drugs, I’ve never seen those photos before 😂😂!!!!
She comes Across as this pretty, rich and posh girl so I’m actually a bit shocked because it’s so obvious she had drugs that day the photos were took and a lot of them too 🤦🏽‍♀️
It is so common in those posh circles to do drugs...just like getting dessert really.

Very nice house. Does anyone know if it's rented or did they purchase? Either way, how can they afford it? What jobs do they have?

Probably helps that she's the heiress to the Quality Street fortunes.. and Hugo went to Harrow, so his family aren't short of a bob or two!

hugo is basically broke. She has lost well over 500k on her fashion business and according to one the of the Fortescues she is broke as well. They live off the money from magazines shoots and both have been known to BEG for holidays and gifted things. She has a terrible reputation around London with brands and very few people want to continue working with her.

100% bought she has so much family money
100% rented

Thanks for your insights, ladies. My daughter’s birth last year was the worst experience of my life, 12 days overdue, failed induction, couldn’t reach my waters, delayed epidural, aw goodness it was truly horrific and at one point I thought that was how I was going to die. Beyond horrendous. Could never risk doing it again. If I ever have another baby I will try and fight for an elective c-section, however in N.I. I have heard they can be hard to get. Anyway sorry, I know this is the Millie thread but just thought if I could get some advice on c-sections that would be great.
Anna Williamson, by all she's said, had a similar horrendous experience with her first child. Strong PTSD and fear of ever being pregnant again. In December she had an elective c-section and a whole difference experience. Maybe worth contacting her (she's very approachable 😊). She works with the NCT and is that rare person these days who seems to generate little negativity. Good luck with whatever you decide to do 👍.

Might I ask, if you don’t mind, once your pain meds wore off, was your c-section area sore? Was the stitched area sore? Had my first baby last year, vaginally, most horrific experience of my life, nothing went right, could never do it again. Just wondering how people found pain levels after c-section. TIA 💐
Hi...not who you asked but I've had 2 EMCS and baby #1 was out at 10pm, I was awake through the whole thing even though I spent over 10h on pitocin contracting like crazy, I had an epidural a couple of hours before they decided it was an emergency and baby needed out. My legs were numb until 9am next day. Once they took the catheter out I was able to stand up and stuff. I walked myself over to the bathroom and had a shower at noon. Went home after 48 from having that shower. Baby #2 was also an EMCS after over 36h with full on contractions, broken water and just 2cm dilated. Baby was born at 5pm...4h later I was up and showering with the help of a lovely midwife from the observation ward. An hour later I was taken to the ward. Next day at noon midwife came in and discharged me.

In terms of pain...it hurts to lie down and get up but nothing you can't handle. My scar healed quickly both times. Also both times the scar area was quite numb for the first 4 or 5 months. The pain relief helps...take it! I have also heard elective sections are much better for pain management later on.

i work with a retailer that had bought into her fashion brand. It was the first time we were picking it up, it was massively hyped by her team they wanted us to put loads of marketing behind it. Then they stopped responding to emails about delivering what we’d ordered. Then we saw on the news it had gone bust and all the staff on her team got laid off.

Hi thanks so much for your very helpful and honest insight. My vaginal birth was just such a horrific experience, I could honestly never risk being in that position again. If I ever have another baby I will have to push for an elective c-section. My recovery from vaginal was difficult enough, I felt a lot of pain, so really I don’t think things could be much worse.
thanks again 💐

I feel you.
I think it depends a lot on the hospital actually.
Now pregnant with second baby and the hospital i went the first time was still pushing for a vag birth as opposed to a c section.
I moved hospital and the midwife said “yes, after the birth you had and the tear you qualify for c section” without batting an eyelid.
Don’t let them bully you.
Having said that, I am aware the c section won’t be a walk in the park but from my previous experience I can’t do another vag birth (too quick, reached the hospital and gave birth in less than an hour).

Really? I think those kind of people don’t put all their eggs in one basket but will have trusts, properties, funds etc.
So yes although their businesses may not be successful it’s probably one of the many income stream they have

@DevaVictrix I had a similar delivery to yours with my first. Took me a long time to come to terms with it and 6 years before I could have another. I thought I'd have to fight for an elective section but I was offered one at 37 weeks with a general. It did hurt, I can't lie. I sneezed 3 days after it and cried with the pain! Still, it was much easier to cope with than my first and I made sure that I took the recovery seriously. Hope that helps!

My bet on the name is Pearl!

Thanks for this, very encouraging.
I had the quickest birth with my first one (less than 2 hours from the first contraction).
I am pregnant again and been told either to have a home birth (no thanks) or an elective c section.
I am sure the emergency one is not fun but hopefully the elective one won’t be as bad! I’ll also be in millies hospital but doubt I’ll get papped 😂😂
I fully recommend an elective if you think that is the best for your circumstances and past experience. For me I did not want to risk a VBac delivery. Not a chance, especially when they said oh the risks are uterine eruption (?). I had an emergency section the first time and then had an elective for my second. Hands down, it was an amazing experience. I can say I loved the birth, it was surreal and actually enjoyable - maybe I was just on a high (not a Millie high lol) for meeting my second baby. I was in for a week with my first as I had complications with the emergency but out the next evening for my second (having had the baby the previous morning). For my elective I had to have the catheter in for 24 hours (I assume this is normal but I read that some hospitals remove it sooner actually) and once they whip that out they want to keep you until you do a big old wee! The first time you edge yourself off the bed - I won’t lie it effing hurts! They encourage you to “walk” as soon as you can and if you move slowly and surely it’s the road to recovery! For weeks after I was tender and walking slowly. It hurts to laugh or sneeze and very tender to move off the bed. You still bleed loads vaginally too.
Everybody I know who has opted to have their next child by section has been pleased it all went well.

Back to Millie, I too presumed she was having a section since it just seemed too convenient that she signed off Insta on the Thursday saying bye for now, then was papped at the precisely the time they left for the hospital the very next morning. No shade at all, if she did she chose to and I don’t blame her as maybe she felt it safer during the pandemic. If she did I do hope she owns it and is proud. She does have a lot of followers and there’s nothing bad about opting for a section etc.

Wow I’m shocked to read she did a lot of drugs. But then when you say the rich kids do then it makes sense - they’re not that bright!
