Even if he didn't sexually abuse children, it cannot be denied that he groomed children and their families, and developed inappropriate relationships with young boys. This alone should be enough for his music to never be played again imo. If it was any other male music star showing the same behaviours today, they would be cancelled immediately.
I respect your opinion

Plenty has been discussed in the past 17 years. People make up their own minds - but it will be based on his behaviour. What they knew at the time and what they have become aware of more recently.
But he's dead now. What would be the point? Or is it for a share of the 💲💲💲🙄

He really was not found innocent - not guilty is very different.
Ok then he was found not guilty on ten charges.. Michael does not have a conviction for child abuse,

I’d like you to tell me what comes between innocent and guilty.. slightly guilty or slightly innocent?

You show me documents from the 4 month court case that declares him guilty of child molestation and then I’ll reconsider my opinion on if he’s a child molester

Thank you see i thought if someone was your idol no way could you jury for them

I separate them music them and personal them same with R Kelly turn back the hands of time is one of my favourite 90s songs i dont like what he did but i still lile the music amd i dont think i could ever hate Michael Jackson music apatt from the preachy charity shit
I'm with you on that. There are some artists I can't separate from their behavior and some I can, lots of problematic artists out there.

I think it's also a little easier with Jackson because he had physically changed so much by the time the allegations came out that it was almost like a different person entirely. So watching older videos of him feels a lot different than when he became that pale ghoul.

I still love lots of his older videos and songs, I used to watch the first part of Moonwalker, fast forward to Smooth Criminal (omg that lean is incredible!) and then turn it off, even before the allegations that shit was creepy.

Generally the people who make these documentaries have an agenda. Or at the very least a deeply rooted opinion they won't veer away from. They won't include anything that might in any way support the person they are maligning because that doesn't fit in with how they choose to portray them.
Michael was very strange, there's no doubt about that but some of those making allegations are outright liars. Once their stories are picked apart carefully you find error after error. All those lies cannot be coincidence or just oopsies. A liar is a liar, and add financial gain into the mix and they become more of a liar to joosh up their tales.
Of course there’s an agenda. All investigative journalism has an agenda too.

And as far as “add financial gain into the mix” goes - wouldn’t that apply to the custodians of Jackson’s estate?

I think you and I have a similar opinion on the matter. I don't feel like he did anything but I can't also say he was innocent.

There are a lot of things that don't add up with the accusers and there are major credibility issues with most of them from what I have seen.

I try and look at a wide range of sources and not just things that defend MJ.

There is a clip with the 2005 accuser Gavin where he says about sleeping in Michael's bed and Michael does say that he (Michael) slept on the floor.

Ultimately we will never know for sure what did and didn't happen.
Yes he does, iv been a lifelong fan and I have the original broadcast of the documentary that I recorded live the night it aired. The you tube clips are not in its entirety.
I think its so easy with documentaries to fall on either side. Some are too biased towards MJ and some too accusatory. I think the best documentary in recent years is the BBC one.
I feel like iv read every word ever written on MJ, good and bad -and I still don't really know. As you say, he did things that were extremely questionable and he has got some grooming patterns in there too. But I just don't know if he actually did the molestation that hes been accused of.

I think all this stuff about mj is really “bad” and it would be a great book to write in the “thriller” section and if he was alive now I bet he wouldn’t be able look at that “man in the mirror” and be proud. One of his victims mum “billie jean” is still haunted by this. Sad times

Im sure it was all his step dads doing. Didnt he come out and say his dad made him lie about it all
I read transcripts of the dad saying he was going to “trap” Jackson he later had plastic surgery so he couldn’t be traced and committed suicide. Jordy changed his identity from what I have read.

He also wasnt alone with them, from other interviews the siblings or other kids that were round would stay in his room at the same time. Again something the media ignore.
Exactly. We should know by now how the media like to twist things. Has no one learnt anything? Ridiculous 🤦‍♂️

I've seen a lot of interviews and articles post this documentary..and I'm convinced it's all about money. Wade and James definitely lying. Hopefully the truth will come out one day and clear Michaels name x
Have you watched the documentary itself though?

Hollywood is absolutely overflowing with them, parents who want fame/wealth for themselves or their children and will do anything to get it.

I don't doubt that some of the parents were successfully manipulated by an absolute master of the game (that Peter Pan bullshit of his was worth its weight in gold, it's still doing the work of making people think he's just an overgrown child) but there are a number for sure that didn't care and were happy to look the other way.

Hell, I'm still reeling after watching a horrible story about a woman who basically let a total stranger walk off with her daughter for the promise of a WalMart gift card and some McDonald's.
Oh gawd that walmart story. I watched the true crime doco on youtube. The worst.
