Have been inactive posting here as despite self isolating work was very busy. I’m sure most of you figured out but without saying too much I work directly with victims of narc abuse - and saying this seeing how Melanie vocalises her feelings about her son, how she acts around him etc. It genuinely makes me worry as I know firsthand the impact. Also her covid shite is so narcissistic (and frankly just gross). I could go into it and once I have a moment I will, but as usual dearreader you are totally spot on with everything.
She is a toxic presence online, I know she would be even worse in person.

Since she is such a "dictionary gal" I may make a suggestion to Oxford/ Collins English dictionaries in her honour. For the term "Dunning-Kruger effect" I suggest they remove the current description (i.e. noun Psychology. the theory that a person who lacks skill or expertise also lacks the insight to accurately evaluate this deficit, resulting in a persistent inflation of estimated competence in self-assessments.) and simply state "noun. Melanie Murphy".

I personally don’t like when people share their babies on the internet because I think it’s exploitative. They use their cute kids for money without the children being able to consent to their lives being publicly shared.

I have to laugh at her looking for tips working from home with a baby. This is the easy stage! At least babies nap. Try working from home with a baby, a toddler and a school going child. There’s thousands of people doing that... trying to work, homeschool, feed, change and entertain all children. Cook a dinner.. clean a house. Grrr

Especially parents that have no choice but to work full time and can’t be at home with their kids because they can’t afford not to be working 5 days a week. She can pretty much work when she wants while also doing it from home and still getting to be with her baby 24/7. It's laughable she literally has the baby beside her .What about all those parents that have no choice but to put kids in a creche and only get to spend a couple of hours with them after they finish work in the evenings ,she's scraping the barrel for contentIs she actually for real??
