I agree with @oicheliath here. Melanie mentioned on her stereo she behaved in a way, shouting at Thomas, in the vicinity of family and that her behaviour was so out of control that she had to be forcefully removed by hotel staff.
I personally wouldn't put up with someone aggressive with alcohol and would put the same ultimatum Thomas did.
To me just what i took from the video- it wasn't about alcohol at all. Several times she mentions how he doesn't drink, in support of her... now speculating I would guess it's less got to do with him supporting her and more to do with her guilting him.
She also mentions over and over how hes going to be away on *Christmas* and how the temptation to drink behind his back. There isn't a doubt in my mind this is done to guilt him and have him worry that it would be his fault.
She hasn't got an alcohol problem. She has a personality problem. Her controlling and aggressive behaviour isn't as well hidden, alcohol brings it into the light. Mel isn't in control if people aren't worried or fawning over her. The only way mel has the upper hand over loved ones is to make sure she has a new diagnosis or issue that keeps her front and centre. She has a child- some of the statements she came out with in that video are sickening and selfish.

She’s constantly living looking forward to something. She does not live in the present at all. It’s always ‘things will be better when..’ and then the next thing comes along and she’s already thinking what else. She’s not a happy person. There’ll be something to complain about once she’s in the house I’m sure.
I won't share my son's name or face to protect his privacy, but will share identifying details of a house I have just bought, and will be spending significant parts of the month alone in as my husband is a long haul pilot.

Video recap.( I just can’t stop hate watching may the Lord have mercy on my soul) Basically all her problem behaviours were due to hormones injecting her with crazy bitch juice and not just her being crunchy as all hell. She’s super stable now says she, as she plays bop it on her space buns and giggles maniacally into the camera. Small interlude where she gives out about the men doing work on the road outside; there won’t be any of that when she gets the new house. At the new house she will be grounded and regular programming will recommence because everything will be stable, even though she plans on being pregnant/breastfeeding till she’s 42, has a second wedding to plan, a granny flat to build and will be out “overlooking farmland” in the new house with no transport and a husband 40000ft in the air. On that note, 35000+ randomers on the internet may be intrigued to know that although Beavis has been merrily flying away, he hasn’t landed the plane in the proverbial airport for some time now, just so ya know.

I’ve not been on this thread for a while so I just caught up and I’m genuinely gobsmacked.

I’d also bet everything I have that she didn’t ask Jesse’s permission to talk about something so personal on her video, I’d be fuming. No wonder they’re always falling out.

Don’t worry, English is my first language and I feel the same way.
She's obsessed with SATC because its the lifestyle she always really wanted. Now she's stuck in a conventional, very stereotypical Irish Catholic marriage and children. Now she's realizing that it isn't what she really wanted but theirs no going back now. A little life depends on her forever. She wants to believe she's like Carrie, but she is more Charlotte, but on steroids. She wants to believe that she can still have that life, that dream, that adventure and excitement. She is missing that lifestyle of singledom, the ''rush'' in her sex life has probably gone by now, especially after having a child, things obviously change a bit. It won't make it easier that they'll be spending less time together, and he will be in other countries from time to time, and she won't always be able to be with him, especially once the little one starts school. The fire goes out in relationships and normality resumes, even to the sex. Most couples are absolutely fine with their sex life calming down over time, but Melanie is one of those that believe she should have an exciting, passionated relationship all the time. She sees how Carrie's lifestyle is and has always desperately wanted it but then she had a massive panic over nothing, and got pregnant and married all at once without thinking it through at all. Tough.
When she was younger, she should have got a visa to the US, New York, saved all that Youtube money, got an apartment and started a vlogging of her journey as an Irish girl in New York. That is the path she wanted to go, but it didn't turn out at all. That is how I've always felt when she talks about life. Now she's obsessed with wanting to appear like the Weasleys from Harry Potter, because she will eventually end up like that poor woman, cooking for a husband and several dozen kids, in a run down house. But she's promoting it as a fairytale. It ain't.
All us normal women who live very busy lives, or have children, partners etc know, it is hard, and a lot of times, you don't look your best, you don't have time, you have children to take care of, a partner who may not always give you the attention you want. Not because they don't love you, but because reality hits in, and people have stresses, worries, kids and work to deal with. You're just tired and want to sleep, take a nap, you don't want to bake cookies, you want to order a takeaway and clean up tomorrow.
That to Melanie is unacceptable, she wants it all, and she will learn eventually it doesn't happen. It's impossible. Celebrities have that, because they have a nanny who does most the work, they have hairdressers and makeup artists to do the rest and chefs to prepare their food. So they have very little to worry about. Normal people have to do all that themselves, so its not always possible to appear as though its all sunshine and roses.
Sex and the City was Melanie's dream life, with dream friends, in a reality that is only in her mind. She pretended to have a real medical condition that would make it hard for her to have children, but she made the whole thing up, twisted it around to fit her own narrative, so decided she needed to get pregnant now, and married because she has old fashioned views, she always has. She is a consummate liar.
Now she has to live with that lie. Which is her existing life. Sorry for rant, but I had to explain it somehow haha!

Another day another anti vax post. But from the angle that she’s all about the healthcare workers. Unless of course she’s accusing them of trying to cut her open, violate her, stop her breastfeeding, being vectors for covid or being only as “essential” as a mid tier instagrammer needing to take pictures of her tits in poorly fitting bras for her grid. God bless Mel. Consistently inconsistent as usual.
I feel like I'm the minority these days thinking that the 'no jab no job' policy is actually a good thing. For my job, I not only have to have hepatitis like a lot of healthcare workers, I also have to have typhoid and BCG due to the nature of my work. And I will quite gladly take any mandatory vaccines to protect me and my colleagues/family! But poor Mel has to jump on another bandwagon to defend her anti-vax views. Perhaps if she actually spent a day in a healthcare setting, seeing people loose their lives or their quality of lives due to covid, she may change her views. But then again, maybe not.
