I am all for no jab no job. It amazes me that someone who has worked through covid, had covid themselves and is surrounded by people who I am assuming would have the scientific knowledge to explain that there is no evidence vaccine mrna is present in breastmilk would still refuse?

Mel always says xo you own research, look into all sides yet only shares information that leans suspiciously anti-science.

Taking a spin on her current bio cause I’m still mad about it…

Melanie Murphy #15 YouTuber by day, plagiarist by night…it’s all just #inspo though, right?

All this scare-mongering around C-sections boils my blood. She didn't have one! She has no idea what the experience is like.

I had an emergency section because of pre-eclampsia. I went in with reduced foetal movement and was told under no circumstances was I leaving the hospital without my baby. I couldn't have any visitors because of restrictions (April 2020). It was a very strange and isolating time but I'd do it again tomorrow. I had no labour pains, no sitting in agony for hours. I was given the drugs and an hour later I had my son in my arms. I highly recommend it, especially for those of us who are impatient 😂

WHO also recommends the Covid vaccine for pregnant and breastfeeding individuals. Funnily enough Mel never posts about that......

This is exactly when I unfollowed her & haven't checked her page since. Infertility is one of the hardest things you can go through, and the gammy ovary thing was the last straw for me. We have been trying for 2 and a half years straight and probably 1 and a half "not being careful/if it happens it happens" before that. (So maybe I'm a bit more sensitive when people make up fertility issues) I am so so pleased for Hannah, what wonderful news. I needed to hear this today. I'd my first IVF embryo transfer today. Hopefully I'll be as blessed. I hope Hannah has a good support system & doesn't need to listen to advise from Mel. I appreciate what many of you have said about infertility. You wouldn't believe the amount of people who say silly things. No one can understand until they go through it, getting your period e v e r y s i n g l e m o n t h. Prays to anyone else going through it too. You are a warrior 💖💙

“ Get on with it”??? Can someone write a letter to the HSE and tell them to just get on with it please and thanks? Golly gosh why didn’t anyone think to just get on with it. Curtesy of the person who has been to a few different places abroad while the rest of us were locked down but “doing their bit” all the same.
Show me one nurse in ICU getting paid hundreds of thousands? Because when it comes down to it if me wearing a mask and getting vaccinated benefits one nurse I’ll happily do it as many times as is necessary.
Thanks for detailing the Mel chat though to talk shit about COVID policy. ( Deffo not virtue signalling tho) Well done you.

Currently on day 8 of isolation, so I haven't been able to celebrate Christmas with anyone today.

But guess what? I'm sucking it up and letting the rest of my family celebrate together. I'm not scared and I'm not brainwashed... I'm protecting my loved ones.

Yes, I've been triple vaxxed and still got it... but I have zero symptoms and feeling fine. Its almost like the vaccines work 🤪

I’ve not been on this thread for a while so I just caught up and I’m genuinely gobsmacked.
She really is an entitled, self-centred, smug, tactless twat.
I’d also bet everything I have that she didn’t ask Jesse’s permission to talk about something so personal on her video, I’d be fuming. No wonder they’re always falling out.
TW - suicide.

On Jessies personal struggles namely when mel mentions suicidal ideation- Mel and Jess had fallen out at the time and Mel went ahead and unfollowed her on IG. So using her sisters struggles for a bit in a book/ to distract from plagiarism won't wash with me when Melanie (the grown up in this case) wasn't even speaking or offering support to Jess.

I noticed in her recent vid she mentioned she had ‘friends that are newly pregnant’…
Hannah Witton has just announced her pregnancy after documenting her tough TTC journey.

I know Melanie didn’t technically out Hannah but I can’t think of any other ‘friends’ Mel has, let alone ones that may be pregnant… Hannah initially sprung to my mind when she said it and here we are, can’t help but think Mel wanted to start people speculating.
Definitely! Now that Hannah's pregnant I feel like it'll be a matter of time before Mel wants to have her second. I can already imagine her commenting on all of Hannah's pregnancy posts/updates with anecdotes about her own pregnancy and using Hannah's news as a opportunity to hijack her platform to talk about herself

Which bright spark in that marketing department had the bright idea to get Melanie WHO DOES NOT DRIVE to advertise an electric car? It’s absurd! May as well have Marty Morrisey advertising menstrual cups. 🙄

What irked me about how she addressed the plagiarism was her saying she wished she hadn’t been so tired when writing and maybe if she hasn’t been she would have thought to check where she got her “inspiration” from.

Like, sorry, this is her job. Saying I was tired isn’t good enough for most jobs. She has a job that she can fit around her lifestyle and she’s still making excuses.

Also, regardless of how open Jessie is about her struggles I think it’s kind of bad for Melanie to bring it into this video.

Melanie really pisses me off sometimes. Sorry to bore you with my own sob story but I haven’t been able to see my family in Australia for 2 years and they haven’t met my baby yet. I know it’s annoying she can’t see Thomas over New Years and Christmas but she’s still had it around family. Why didn’t she go and see her mum and make the most of a bad situation?! But no she is going to sit at home and have ‘an oul’ sob’. She needs to get a grip and maybe feel sorry for Thomas who is the person who is actually alone this Christmas

She’s constantly living looking forward to something. She does not live in the present at all. It’s always ‘things will be better when..’ and then the next thing comes along and she’s already thinking what else. She’s not a happy person. There’ll be something to complain about once she’s in the house I’m sure.
She hadn't even birthed baby no 1 before she was harping on about baby 2, 3 and 4. She started baby led weaning too early and she had him in a front facing seat. Its always the next thing or things will be better when as you said. Never happy as things are.

She was just about married and already saying how much better it will be when they get their second wedding redo.

She maintained Thomas was her ride or die and she would move anywhere with him. Then the Dublin live post she stated how unfair it was that he might have to move to Manchester.... cut to now and her bragging about how its going to be the *best* thing for her family. Which is it?

She's miserable and using her platform to convince herself that she's happy and "it'll be better when"

Very sorry for your loss but surely people realise that no matter what we do this will never go away until the health service sorts itself out? And we are discussing Melanie whose take is one more and more people are beginning to agree with.
More and more people aren't specialists. I'll listen to the science and not someone who doesn't even say what degree she has properly.

What health service in the world do you know who has it sorted out? We need more staff and less people taking up beds. Less people taking up beds = ideally less people in them with covid as there are steps to avoid it and not taking them away from cancer patients etc. That starts with people taking accountability for their own actions and getting over themselves by realising how it spreads and how it can be stopped. I've worked constantly in our health service for the past 15 months and 5 years before that. I don't need a lecture of how badly run our health system is.

That video is so bizarre. I don't drink and I know lots of people who choose not to drink. We do it for different reasons and it's really nothing special. So I'm not sure who these videos are for. They aren't for people with addiction issues, as she says a lot of things in the video with yucky implications. At one point she says something like, "I can easily put down a delicious whiskey if I think of a bad night I had." 🤦‍♀️

But it's also not for people who don't drink because, well, most of us don't see this as difficult or special. I just don't drink. I also don't think it's wrong for people to have a drink if they are ok to. So what demographic is she trying to reach here?

It just seems like either A) She's exploiting the idea of sobriety for attention/views. Or B) Her issues with alcohol are more serious than she's willing to admit. The comment about sneaking a drink behind Thomas's back was weird. Does this imply that this decision was more his idea than hers? Either way, it's uncomfortable to watch. She basically just glorifies alcohol for 10 minutes. What a great sobriety video. 😬

"Qualified teacher" in her youtube bio. Does she ever stop lying even after people debunk her bullshit? It's actually scary. How tired her husband must be, being a yes man all the time because the only other alternative is getting mindfucked and gaslighted.

I must say this really isn’t the place to discuss this, but you’ve hit a bit of a nerve with me and probably others here.
My mum is currently ill with breast cancer, she was scheduled to have surgery in September but it was cancelled last minute because cases in the area surged, it was/is very upsetting and worrying, but I would never for a minute accuse the staff at the hospital of being disorganised and tell them to sort themselves out, they dedicate their whole life to saving people and they’re still doing so dispute being put under so much pressure.

I’d say that fair enough, blame the government for not providing enough support and failing to gain the trust of the public by flip flopping about restrictions. But not the health service.

This is very much a ‘not my job not my problem’ take on things, blaming the health service and saying they need to sort themselves out. No health service (nor government) in the world was ready for COVID.
It doesn’t take a genius to see that countries that have imposed stricter measures have far less cases/deaths.
If you really refuse to be sensible and cautious (even if that means just wearing a mask - not a big ask at all) because it’s ‘not your problem’ then I don’t see how you can slag off medical professionals.
I’m also pretty offended by anyone who compares wearing a mask to child abuse, it’s incredibly crass and ignorant.

Sorry for the rant I tried to stay as calm as I could 😅
