She is so freaking predictable!

A couple of months ago she was claiming to be about to start putting away milk to donate. Blind Freddy could see she was just trying to make herself sound good without actually doing the thing.

She's seriously surprised there are 'loads of rules around it'? She must be well below average intelligence if that is the case. I mean wow. She expects the government to allow human bodily fluids to be consumed by young (and potentially sick) babies without stringent screening and policies in place? She really doesn't think anything through does she ...

I can just imagine her rocking up to donate with a stack of random, half thawed bags of fore milk collected from her unsterilised haakaa.

What do youse mean I can't donate? 😮😮😮 But goise you don't understand it's liquid GOLD! Do your research!! 😡 It's been in me in-laws freezer next to the frozen peas all these months but I fished it out to s a v e some babies!

It's the lies for me- got a message from the donor bank... no you just read the posts from people on tattle who researched it.

She really loves playing a victim and complaining, like the government doesn’t let her buy a house or doesn’t let her husband work. With her lack of self awareness and common sense, she’s lucky she has any kind of career. They both still have jobs, support from their families, a place to live, that’s already a lot more than many other people have.

It's the "he won't allow me to contribute" that does it for me. Tell Baldie to strap on a pair and ditch the ego. It's her debt too. I'd be like duck that and pay some of it off at least. It's the first thing a financial advisor would suggest.

They're a pair of gobshites and it's probably best they don't own a house right now. Christ it's one thing playing house which they're doing now, wait til they've to run an entire household....the place will be an absolute dump with Harry Potter tat everywhere and no bills paid....nappies strewn around the living room....🤢

It's not only that he doesn't want her to pay off his debt, she definitely has an issue with that too!! Which is grand but I don't understand why they got married then and want to JOINTLY buy a house TOGETHER. Hellooooo?

She saying she’s fine with keeping her money there for a nest egg and Thomas will pay off his debt as they jointly agreed that’s the best thing to do. THEN WHY ARE YOU COMPLAINING??? Pair of gobshites is right.

I don't understand that either. He's too proud to let Melanie help him out so they can actually - finally - start properly pursuing their dream of owning a house yet if I'm not mistaking Melanie has hinted multiple times that she used to pay for everything (meaning their meals/food etc) when he was at uni? Love playing the victim these two.

I worry about the latter, I honestly can't see them keeping on top of housework as they fail to keep on top of the attic! Especially when Thomas is working full time, as he seems to be the one who does the bare minimum of cooking and cleaning. I think someone said on this thread about it showing that they have never lived without their parents, its so true! They could prioritise being more organised but seem to like sitting on social media constantly instead! I'm on here but am also on top of other everyday tasks like what everyone else probably is on here. Mad that they are considering more kids soon!

This is something that really bothers me, as I am getting married next year. I am really looking forward to the wedding and the romantic aspect of it all but I primarily see marriage as a financial agreement and a practical arrangement. I know that once we're married, I am expected to provide for my husband if he loses his job and vice versa, and we are completely fine with this. So it really baffles me that she keeps talking about "my savings" and "his debt" when they are a married couple. Why were they in such a hurry to get married if they're not ready to combine their finances? I guess she was broody and did not want to have a child out of wedlock (because she's such a progressive feminist you guys) and wanted to have a big party but did not think of the responsibilities that come with a marriage.

I just found the whole post so cringe, why would you need such validation from the internet that you have to specify all your finances in such detail. Such an odd thing to do. Shouldn’t she just focus on her baby, or if baby is resting, take some rest for herself- instead of justifying your lifestyle to the internet.
Very strange. Finances are a private matter like, I wouldn’t feel the need to put that up no matter how many ‘people messaged me asking about it’. (Saw it brought up here)

I feel like he would let her if she pushed enough. You can tell by his facial expression any time it’s brought up. I feel like Melanie brought it up once and half-heartedly offered and he goes ‘ah no no I couldn’t do that’ and that was the end of that.

It's so annoying hearing her moan about her housing situation when there are so many ways her and Thomas could solve their problems. Pay off his debt, stop spending 10s of thousands of euros on weddings/hair transplants and move your dad into a smaller flat to reduce that rent payment! Meanwhile I'm stuck renting a room in a house because on my salary I can't afford a 1 bed flat. I also have a big deposit saved thanks to some inheritance, but again as a single person on a low salary the amount offered to me as a mortgage would barley cover a studio flat here in the southeast of England. Just need to find a nice husband with a pilot salary to get me out 🤣.

Shouldn't be a problem as all the Irish aviation jobs are going to the UK if Mel and Thomas are to be believed.

Again, they made the choice to get a new fancy car. If it's on finance that's another thing potentially having an impact on the mortgage application. If it was bought outright then why didn't they just use the money to pay off the debt and either wait to get a car or get a cheap runaround for now!?
I think I remember her saying that it's on finance.
Also no word on her getting her driver's licence, right? Didn't she study for her exam that was to take place the next day when she went into labor?
Tip top planning skills again

$95 🙃 plus $30 shipping to Ireland. For something that we'll probably never see her wear again. Just to wear for an Insta post about her '6 month breastfeeding journey' ... please Mel, keep telling us about your financial struggles and how hard done by you are by the pandemic.

(Not to mention the jumper is ugly af, sorry :censored:)

Interesting how she doesn’t celebrate her baby being 6 months old but 6 months of her ‘breastfeeding journey’. Wow.

That last line...you could save a baby....Will formula not save a baby? Bit dramatic Mel.
With formula, according to specialist Melanie, they will merely survive. The only way to thrive is with her liquid gold. 🤣🤣
Judgemental insensitive bullshit information obviously, unsurprisingly.

My kid was 4lbs when he was born 6 weeks early. I was bedridden for days and had to visit him in a wheelchair for the first time in NICU because I was exhausted and in immense amount of pain after a section because of pre-eclampsia. Formula feeding saved my child as it does millions of babies across the world every day.

Formula is someone’s life work and I’m forever grateful for it. But of course only breast milk is what helps a baby thrive 🙄

I joined a breastfeeding group in Ireland because I was curious about it pre-birth and tbh I forgot that I joined it. Melanie is in it and talking this morning about milk donations and how we’re so low in Ireland/ difficult to donate because if restrictions etc. All the replies are people telling her they’ve had no issues donating and how they went about it.

I’m so glad there’s people with actual sense out there ❤
