There's a weird misogyny on this thread that's starting to piss me off to be honest.

Megan has been honest in the fact she doesn't post her kids. They had their faces blurred in the media for years (it's changed now though). Her kids literally live with her most of the time for christ sakes, yet somehow there is a mental narrative on this thread that she's a bad parent/ doesn't spend time with her kids etc etc. How would any of you know what goes on? Yes she's photographed on holiday without the kids and yes she's photographed with MGK, but she has joint custody with Brian so what's she supposed to do when they aren't with her? Sit in the house to avoid being photographed in case someone starts with the absent parent BS?

There are many, many, celebrities that keep their kids out the media and I for one think it's a good thing.

Edited to add: Megan's oldest boy dresses in girls clothes and has for a long time. She has spoken in the past about people being very cruel about the way he looks so I can totally see why she keeps them out of the media and off social media. It doesn't make her an absent parent, neither does her getting engaged 18 months after a divorce.

Yeah I really don't get the vibe with her and MGK or Kourt and Travis. I feel like they've modelled their relationships on Angie and Billy Bob back in the day.

I just find it odd when grown adults seem to have that obsessive infatuation that seems mostly based on pure lust. I don't think it's healthy at all and I think it romanticizes some fairly toxic traits.

I also find it hard to take her seriously when she talks sometimes. I feel like she's trying very hard to be seen as ~*deep and mysterious*~ with all her 'twin flames' shit, and the captions she writes about MGK on insta remind me of a 13 year old emo on MySpace.

In real life he helped Kim through all her addiction and legal issues, adopted her children and helped raised them as his own. He also apologised to her publicly. MM was hugely controversial and problematic at the height of his fame in these terms but he’s come a long way from the absolutely awful start he had in life. I am all for 2nd chances and retribution if someone is genuine and has matured. His music today isn’t like it used to be which is why he isn’t topping charts like he used to. There are a lot of dangerous men out there in the world and many of them are rich, smiling and predatory. Dre for instance..

I have a soft spot for her and I think she looks much happier with MGK than she has with her ex for years. I think she went into marriage and a family too young and is trying to do some of the stuff she missed out on.

After her husband's car accident (followed by extreme depression), he got hooked on painkillers and slept all day. Their youngest was a "bandaid baby" but their marriage was too far gone. He spoke about this openly and it was like he took all the blame. I felt bad for him. She checked out on the marriage long before leaving it.

Don’t feel too bad for him, there has been lots of rumours about how controlling he is, I think his ex even confirmed it.

Megan was VERY young (18/19 i think?) when she met BAG and he was 30, she wasted her 20’s on him, she grew up and wanted different things and he thought having a young girl he would be able to mould her into what he wanted

I agree she seems very narcissistic and up herself but I don't doubt she's dealt with some monstrous people in Hollywood from a young age. Working in close proximity with Michael Bay, Shia LaBoeuf. And then there's Brian. She's clearly trying to relive her youth after being with Brian for so long, from so young. But neither of her relationships with BAG or MGK seem particularly healthy.

I like Megan too. I have low self esteem and ended up with an older fella too. I met him when I was 20 and he was 35. We stayed together for 7 shitty years. Had a child. I resented him for tying me down and wasting the best years of my life. I relived my youth when we split, went to raves and festivals. Loved it.
I never heard of MGK before and googled him. He actually has some great tunes and looks nice when he is not posing with weird clothes and hair. I wish them the very best.
