Just had a stalk of Louise and the stairs in her flat look exactly like the stairs in my flat and I live in the NQ too. Bloody hell I hope she isn't in my building somewhere!! I haven't seen any Megan look-a-likes creeping around with duct tape and an axe with a tram ticket to North Manchester ready to break into their house and steal George, but I'll keep my eyes peeled 😂

Copying the clothes is one thing but the flat, city, hairstyles, even little things like the shell wallpaper it's a bit much. And everyone that follows her must think whoa megan ellaby but everyone acts like it's normal and doesn't mention it!

Also I don't think I've ever seen Saturdays Instagram ever share her pics wearing the brand which u think they would?

Tbh that picture of Megan was posted in September. Neither England or Scotland was in lockdown at that point and we were even allowed to socialise with people indoors at the time and go to the pub(!). I'm not convinced she was necessarily doing anything wrong here... not to say she hasn't broken rules or whatever at other times.

Scrolled to near the end of her insta of the Megan copycat (yes I’m that person because I find it funny to see when/how people tweak themselves over time to fake looking cooler or different)
Looks like she was a wannabe blogger, had a few days out in Manc - maybe had some Manchester bloggers on her radar and thought she looked like Megan then went full throttle with it! Or maybe someone said she looked like her and she took that as a calling... seen that happen before. She could of chosen a bit more wisely 😅

Hahah I was gonna do this... I find it so odd wanting to literally be someone else. I listened to 10 mins of her podcast too to see how she came across... jeez - that’s 10 mins I’ll never get back! 😂
Also the creepiest bit is the exact poses and body language and has trained her face muscles to do that weird pinched top lip thing when she speaks...
Megan must find it super creepy if she follows her.

Ha ha thanks for the heads up, I won’t be clicking that anytime soon!
So who has actual Megan copied to be ‘Megan’ - most of these influencers are always a carbon copy of someone else before them. Marianne Thedorsen was a good shout from Tattlers for the style copy but who for the garish poses... ?

(Ps sorry if I have it wrong over Marianne, I think that’s who has been compared a few times)

When I first found her on YouTube I found the way she moved really odd... it felt like I was watching Liam Gallagher doing a fashion video or something. 😂
So I’d guess her influence came from what she thought was ‘rock n roll’ I feel like definitely back then especially she liked being known as the rock n roll girl... the ‘I’m with the band’ kinda thing.
Im not into rock or indie particularly but that’s how it came across to me... She also used to bang on about Alexa Chung a lot.

Explains her awkward gangly posing. I guessed she imitated those from Alexa! Nice spot.

Oh my days! I just watched her stories "loving a tampon moment" and nearly died from second hand embarrassment.

I thought Manic Pixie Indie Cindy was done for years ago? Also spotted the little Clam print.
I can't help but think she's got no friends, moved out of home to up north hoping for adoration,
and instead is making a list of all of Megan's old spots to awkwardly brunch at?

I stupidly out of intrigue watched her "moving vlog" and you can feel the insecurity.
On that note, I really miss super old Megans vlogs, especially the styling ones.

Oh no bad move, if all of the Manchester places run for cover when actual Megan arrives, they’re going to want to do the same when a strange lookalike rocks up!
If you miss styling videos check out KarenBritChick, I am pretty sure I saw someone mention her here before. She’s great, doesn’t take herself too seriously like, ahem, some other bloggers out there and I honestly think Megan has ‘stole’ half her ideas and passed them as her own aesthetic. Things like the cowboy boots and dresses etc. Even some of her phrases ‘my jam’.

Haha! I'm now starting to feel a little obsessed seeing how creepy she is!

Oh thank you! I've only just started watching her videos after following her insta. I love her energy! and I think you might be right about a few influencers taking note from her. I can't help but notice the need to have little catchphrases like Nanna Faye on the "barnet" hype haha.

Would love any other recommendations if you've got any, thank you x
