My family and I always give nicknames to everyone, especially players. It's a lot of fun. And when we are at the match, we can talk about anyone without people knowing what we are saying
Like, I only call my brother by his name when I'm angry at him

And here it's fun because it makes the lurkers work a little bit to try and guess who we are talking about
