He’s definitely been referred to Healthy Cornwall, that’s the first port of call, for diabetes too. He won’t be on any injections straight off the bat. It’s likely if he is diabetic hes been given metformin to start. He can take meds as he’s said before he’s on some anti depressants/anxiety thing. There’s no way that even Marcus could pack away what he’s eating/drinking in one sitting on Ozempic or similar, it would trigger vomiting.I was in a diabetes tutorial recently at work (and thinking about fat lad as my case study), and the GPs are v loathe to start any anti-diabetic drugs - especially in young patients - so wouldn’t be surprised if he was under community diabetic specialists via the hospital with a new diagnosis, so have more access to different drugs to begin with.
anyway dependent on how badly controlled his diabetes is by the time they got the diagnosis I think they could have started him on an oral agent daily and if that Didn’t control it alone(probably not) the better idea would be starting him on ozempic or Victoza (both second-line weekly injectable drugs for diabetes, easily prescribable AND appetite suppressants to fix out his weight problem) than insulin or a gliclazide as if he is autistic as he claims he may say he couldn’t cope with monitoring his blood glucose levels multiple times a day, drawing up insulin and managing potential hypos.
All in all if he is diabetic I reckon there’s a big chance he’s been put on an appetite suppressant given the complications he’s already suffered (the toe)
whoever knew tattle and Marcus would help me out so much with studying
The one at media city was mintMe too beautthough we ended up with a Maccies drive through as driving from Edinburgh early this morning it doesn't quite hit the spot and was as greasy as Mitchell's fanny curtains
I’m on ozempic and it’s on nhs, but I’m diabetic and fat as fuck sooo… it’s unavailable on prescription for non diabetics, but the folk that buy it have caused a shortage so I can’t get the dose I need lolI haven’t been on the saxenda/ozempic threads in a long time; can diabetics get it on perscription here yet? There is a lady at work who has just started taking it as recommended by her doctor and she is diabetic, i don’t know her well enough to ask if she is paying
