And lo and behold there we have it, the substack launch. He spent all Sunday apparently making a ‘plan’ bull! The post as we thought was all just a strategy to soft launch his substack, he never had any intention of selling. Not sure what the buy me a coffee thing is? Is it an extra payment on top of substack subs?
Yep - timed to perfectly follow up on all the engagement of the previous posts and stories, along with the usual oh what bumbling old me I’m not very good at this,..
saying “this I could do immediately with no investment other than time and energy and I’m so excited”
And “ for days I’ve ignored my compulsion to graft”

oh please, what nonsense old bean.

the buy me a coffee is a platform like just giving for direct donations- except the donations are straight to the person not for charity.
His insta pal Sympathetic renovation does it ( although his was launched in return for actual renovation advice)
So it’s basically a way of getting money for nothing.

The substack launch was ENTIRELY predictable from such a sales/marketing whizz as the bumbling old bean.
It’s been written about in the press forums LinkedIn etc for well over the last year as being on the rise and a way for influencers to best the w algorithms of insta and TikTok, monetise better, gain brands and increase reach and engagement.that’s why, like sheep, they are all flocking to set up accounts. Greg just plotted a great launch strategy and boom.

Fixed it for him. I've unfollowed too. I'll be interested to see how many followers he loses. i was interested in the house at first but lately it was just awful. I'll be damned if I'm going to work hard to give my money to grifters who don't work but want mansions. Especially when so much of it so far has probably been gotten for free anyway.

Live within your means!

Really sick of the Substack thing already. They all act as if they have something brilliant and erudite to share. This from a man who spelt it shiney in his post! Yeah I'll definitely want to read your faux "aren't I a nice old chap with no idea" Substack.

His literacy skills really aren't up to a written platform, especially not one where he asks people to pay for the content.

I’m done with dickheads pretending to be humble.
Especially greedy ones.

Even more so when they’re greedy, living with massive beautiful homes, filled with high end luxurious things, and going regular exciting luxury long haul travel - but think nothing of liberally sprinkling their content with ‘I CAN’T AFFORD THIS,’ as if it’s a great equaliser.

I cannot stand all this performative faux humble bull, it's so OBVIOUS. Do they really think people fall for this crap? "Oh aren't I a silly sausage, I really didn't think anyone would read anything written by little old meeeeee". It's rinse and repeat, I've now seen about half a dozen home influencers pushing this substack tit following almost identical storylines. The only thing worse is when they try and segway into fashion content.

That bleeping hat perched above his ears needs to get in the bin as well

I absolutely support people choosing not to have children if it's not right for them and also that people would do better to pause and not ask "So when are you having children then?"

But it's the smugness that comes through his post whenever he talks about this subject. This time around it's that he has watched "frazzled parents trying to entertain their little darlings" (the little darlings might be paraphrased, the frazzled was his choice of words") and it has really annoyed me.

It's SUCH a cliche to say all parents are frazzled and also that we can't abide, or cope, with holiday times so aren't the childless just so LUCKY!

I know for some people parenting is hard or has hard moments at least but it's also joyful, fun, chaotic and emotional. It's everything and something and has it's peaks and troughs. But the smug childless Greg likes to pity us parents and if he and Cot are the only ones that have calm and just the best stress-free life. Well you don't actually, but I would never look down on you or make cliches and presumptions about you. What a gob he is.

The reason he won't have children is he is still a man child himself and wants Cot to make him the centre of her universe. He doesn't want the limelight off him!

If he's so bloody happily childfree, why can't he just get on with it? Why does he have to keep going on about people with children and being such an obnoxious wick about it?

This is really mean but his eyes are too small for his forehead in that picture. Unfortunate angle I'm sure.

What does she see in that giant man baby anyway.

Find his choice of words " frazzled" quite funny seeing as he looks like an old tea towel rung out to dry.
