The thing I don’t get is even if he has no qualms in selling his soul to promote that sort of thing, surely he should have used top cash back for a purchase related to his niche which last time I checked was still the house? Even if his new niche is the relationship, the dino costumes are so off brand.

His house is livable now, he has a kitchen, umpteen bathrooms, bedrooms and half the downstairs in the ,"servants corridor" is done. So, why the hell can't he get a job and do bits at night or the weekends, he might be able to put his heating on then.
If he got a job he'd be able to finish the bottom bit and either rent it out or use it as an air BnB. He'd make a fair wack renting it out in Plymouth.
