Apparently she has a 'ye olde english farmhouse' now and not a #Cornish #Geogian #Country #Period #house. Ok Ms. Delusion.
I can't stop laughing at the fact that her latest vlog is LITERALLY about watching paint dry and is about as interesting.
I lasted 5 minutes before I decided to go outside and watch the grass grow instead.
I flicked through and as far as I could tell it's just another video of her talking about what they're going to do with the kitchen, waffling about the difference between white 01 and white 02 and pointing at the fridge, freezer etc again. How many times does she need to repeat all this?
I'm not an influencer but if you're going to do a decorating series then having a focus for each video and a consistent theme seems sensible. For example;
Video 1. Plans for the kitchen
Video 2. Sanding and painting the beams
Video 3. Choosing a colour and painting the kitchen
Video 4. Choosing accessories
Video 5. The end result with a before and after
Video 6. Tips for being as sustainable as possible when decorating your house. For example, paint shops that recycle paint, shopping second hand for everything, materials to avoid etc.
Instead there's the same repetition and pointing in each vlog style video and no consistent video titles. The decorating is often thrown in with other stuff like hauls, trips to the beach and pottery classes. The branding and thumbnails are inconsistent as well.
It just feels like a mess to me with little thought as to what's accessible, especially for new viewers who might have found her channel. Why would a new viewer click that 40 minute long Oops video?
ETA if anyone wanted to watch the
renovation decorating series they could probably watch a boxset of The Office in the same time. By repeating everything and including other weekly vlog bits they've made their
renovation decorating videos much longer than they need to be, and near impossible for anyone to watch back for decorating tips.
