Apologies if this has been mentioned before (I haven’t read the whole thread) but has anyone heard about their trip to a bar called Chaplins that was around 2km from the Ocean Club, that the group went to (including G&K) a couple of nights before Madeleine went missing? It was happy hour and a quiz night too. Apparently, a member of staff from Mark Warner found G&K and advised them that Madeleine had been crying for over an hour (it was about 10-11pm) and they need to come back. I think one of them went back. I think it may have been Mrs. Fenn, who lived above the apartment, who alerted a member of staff. Unfortunately, I think she’s passed away now.
I do actually remember reading something about them possibly being at another bar one of the nights. I was on a forum called babyandbump and there was a huge McCann thread on there (might be gone now) which I found mind blowing at the time and that’s where I first saw it mentioned.
I did a quick search and found this blog which seems to discredit the whole thing.

Just my theory, I don't think it was the parents. Yes they may have been negligent, yes perhaps dodgy characters but how much random stuff could the police dig up about any one of us, which people could run with and make a story about.
I think someone that worked in the Holiday Complex was feeding someone information about when apartments were left unlocked ect so valuables could be stolen. They may have been desperate for money and thought this would be a quick money maker. The thief would then give the Holiday worker a cut in return for the information..
Let's say this thief was also a paedophile like the new suspect, managed to get into the Mcanns apartment and thought Bingo, has taken Madeline and the rest is history.
Just looking at the press on CB and either they’ve got their man or he’s being stitched up good and proper.
Articles on a friend who worked in the resort phoned him to tell him the apartment was empty and free to burgle. Another one on one of his pals apparently calling the phone line and said he looked like the e-fit. Then a sighting reported in Spain of a man and little girl at a restaurant, traveling in a camper van.

So here’s my five pence worth I believe they 100% did it. They are drs so would be aware of CSE and abuse so why you would leave a child to potentially be taken is beyond me knowing what can happen to children that are trafficked.
I wasn’t a parent at the time of Maddie and I remember the most horrific feeling of my stomach being twisted and twisted to think of what that child is going to be possibly subjected to. That for most parents is the worst nightmare but I never ever saw that with them not even a glimpse.
I like to think I’m a good at people reading and I have never got anything just a bunch of wtf why would you say that feelings. I wasn’t a parent but I would be searching high an low for my child not that I would never ever leave my child not in this country let alone another.

They will never be brought to justice for what they did and that is because our own government are involved with the funding and why no proper questions were asked.
I work in children’s services and this would not happen with the children I work with. Why was the twins left with parents who clearly and openly neglected them

It would've had to be some one who knew the parents schedule of leaving their children behind and the other tapas crew.
I think it was someone working at the hotel who alerted an unsavoury person.

Nothing meant by it, apologies if it came across that way. A simple straight forward theory would mean we weren’t all still guessing after this long.
I’m just looking at it now! I went down the pizzagate rabbit hole a couple years ago - there’s some ducked stuff going on for sure. However in this case I think the podesta thing was debunked? Can’t remember how now.
I think we have to think wider than what would be perceived as your typical 'bad person'.
What if the Holiday worker was a mum, desperate for money for any reason, could be facing becoming homeless, sick child and needed to pay for treatment, literally anything and thought this could be her way to make some money quickly and had no idea that a child would be taken, just thought they were assisting a thief.
It would be a case of having to keep your part a secret or being found out to be part of the biggest child abduction case we've seen. Going back to the fact this person could have been a desperate mum, by revealing her part she would potentially spend years in prison away from her child ect.
I seriously doubt your ability to be able to think objectively and also your suitability to work in children't services. Don't shoot me but you really need to reconsider your thoughts, why would a government fund filicide?

Maybe I should of explained better. I don’t mean they will never be brought to justice because of our own government funding what I do mean that any wrong doing that they have clearly committed for example leaving three children alone for god knows how long they will never be charged for that.
Why would our government not bring not them to justice for that?
