Yeah she did. People made some good points actually about how if she wants moderator work done on her facebook group then she should fucking pay them, especially since that facebook group makes her profit in return and is an essential part of her brand. Lucy said that she was giving people a free app subscription and people did not have to volunteer if they didn't want too looool OH, and she pays her other staff well.Has she responded?
I feel like no one really thought about it because they didn’t expect people to not agree with this as she’s our kinder bueno queen and that. It’s simply impossible to run a “fan” space as an influencer, because, see this source -https://www.psychologytoday.com/us/blog/your-online-secrets/201607/youre-not-really-friends-internet-celebrity . It’s just so textbook!! It’s p much like those tumblr posts in 2012 where it says “don’t give up because i care” and it’s got 2 million reblogs and the poster couldn’t give less of a shit what you’re going through loolif they were they would have advised her against posting the moderator job as a volunteer position

I’m sorry but this outfit is a) ugly b) looks so cheap and c) the skirt alone is £95?!??!? Like why would you spend almost £100 on that piece of crap
I don't think most of the people there understood the issue. I'm not against volunteer work. I've volunteered in a soup kitchen for several years now because I know their funding is extremely low. I know who's funding defo isn't low though... it's a different deal giving out food to low income families AND working for free to moderate a massive facebook group while the actual CEO of the company is preaching how important it is to love yourself and not settle for less while at Mykonos. I guess this is just the harsh reality (we live in a society...) because so many clever people do unpaid internships and are paid with "experience" and are esentially being robbed.it’s ‘ableist’ to be against volunteer work
And she had the audacity to moan a while ago about feeling crap for putting on a couple of pounds and decided to share that with the internet. The tone deaf cow she is. She obviously actively works at keeping thin.I’m sorry I just can’t with her anti diet messaging when she is the definition of pretty blonde white girl. Just doesn’t sit right with me
There's so much self pitying going on in her stories, which is ridiculous given she could have avoided the whole thing with some transparent and fair discussion of the issues people brought up.Mental health reasons apparently, they all had their own shit to deal with, quote from Lucy “Sarah has the move, Tara has her business and I … have my own shit” wonder what she meant![]()
Exactly. she also used (in my opinion) different ethnicities and larger women as tokens to show people "look how I diverse I am!" But racist comments went massively unchecked in that group and if you said something you'd get accused of bullying. So instead of actually paying people to do something about it she closes it instead? BullshitThis is what is so manipulative about her 'final statement'. She said she was talking to the group members as though she would a friend, but the thing is, they aren't her friends. They're the ones who are paying for her holidays, her expensive skin and hair care, her spacious one bed flat etc etc. They are commodities to her, not friends. They serve a purpose for her so it makes sense to make them feel as though they mean something to her when in reality they're consumers of her brand.
I used to be a member of the Facebook group but the toxic positivity is exactly why I left it and why I unfollowed Lucy. I do still use her first gym guide on the Aflete app because it's a solid workout program but I didn't even go near the Nobs app as it looked pants.I'm on that group and it's such a hotbed of toxic positivity (which is basically her brand at this point) that I'm not surprised that the majority of people commenting claimed to see no issue with it
