This is what annoys me about influencers - they cannot handle any criticism - this person has been called out by Lucy for suggesting she might use her massive platform for promoting being prepared for labour. Instead of being open minded, Lucy got completely affronted and showed her a. Maybe she should ask herself why her midwife was so insistent she went to an antenatal class?? Lucy wouldn’t realise this because she lives in a princess bubble but there are A LOT of women in this country who do not have access to good antenatal maternity care and it puts their and their baby’s life at risk because they’re not being monitored, don’t understand labour etc...this person wasn’t pointing out she had to have a birth plan at all, just to promote that women should be attending all antenatal services.
Shes due a week before me and has proper pissed me off with this as I have gestational diabetes and it’s not because I have been over eating or not exercising like she is making out. Also I haven’t kept well most of my pregnancy and just doing simple daily chores has been hard work. She’s a princess who lives in a bubble

Same, I have SPD and literally can’t walk my dog to the end of the road and back without being in pain and then continued pain for the rest of the day. Doesn’t matter how much I want to, I can’t do it. I also had GD in my previous pregnancy and let me tell you Lucy, no amount of exercise would have reduced the chance because it’s a HORMONAL thing
Made me laugh today she commented when a midwife said her figures surrounding gestational diabetes was incorrect she said she had the information from a fitness expert lol. I think a midwife knows a little more than a personal trainer. You would think she is the only pregnant woman ever. Talk about cashing in!
You mean she's not the first woman in history to be pregnant?! Who knew?!
I think that person was very nice about the way she put it as well, it’s stupid that she was just going to rely on the ‘natural motherly instincts’. Thank god she went to an antenatal class she would have been so overwhelmed otherwise!

She’s going to get a shock if those ‘natural motherly instincts’ don’t kick in straightaway. But she’s totally oblivious that that can happen given that she’s not wanting any information prior to birth.
I feel like maybe she was a bit naive. People had probably said don't have a birth plan as it never goes right and she took that to mean don't bother trying to prepare at all. Luckily she has a sensible midwife!
But I am half on board with her. You don't need to read loads of books, go to several different classes, learn to hypnobirth... As long as you are aware of what might happen and are open minded, it is a good thing.

I don’t see how Lucy is worth so much and doing so well!! She is a has been from a reality show ffs! To see her furnishing her brand new house and luxury spa breaks and hotel stays whilst pregnant......and myself and millions of other women who are also pregnant (and women who aren’t!) have to scrimp and bloody save and still do a 9-5 to keep heads above water ....then you get this twit gifted literally everything and anything, really depresses me the way society is today
It is disheartening isn’t it when you see these pregnant celebrities living the dream during pregnancy, off on holidays all the while and being gifted everything. I’d love just one night away at a spa with my husband (I’m pretty much due the same time as Lucy) but it’s just no feasible when living an actual normal life, both of us at work, baby things to buy, house to maintain etc
Why is this not a declared ad or gifted stay. They’ve clearly been given a script of things to say online about the animal conservation so there must be some affiliation to Port Lympne but NOTHING has been declared. If it turns out to be an ad or gift and they only say at the end it needs reporting.
She is the most annoying person ever
I have a 5 month old and worked up until 2 weeks before his due date. I’ve also returned to work already, both choices made because we needed the money to pay the rent! I wish we could have afforded luxury holidays, spa breaks, expensive redecoration but both me and my husband work long hours and it’s not realistic at all. Lucy lives the life of luxury but is completely oblivious.
She runs a successful fitness business results with Lucy so she’s not doing nothing?
Tbh I applaud that; she used her “fame” with TOWIE to create a brand that isn’t about Botox or makeup. It’s about health and wellness and runs retreats for women who want to train with her.
She’s more than entitled to enjoy the luxuries - just as anyone who works for them is.
Her cards were dealt favourably is all; everyone makes the best of their situation. I certainly would haha!
