I think it also depends on your birth and tearing situation as to when you can exercise. I'm 3 months PP and have yet to get round to even thinking about exercise!!
After my first, I was a write off for about 4 months due to stitches & swelling. Second though, with just tearing, i was alright after 2 weeks. Our bodies are amazing!

I agree, it is amazing what they can do and on what timescale!
I think I could have exercised already but my daughter is so clingy and being a first time mum has been tiring enough without adding in exercise!!!!

The fake dishwasher ad!! So staged, not sure what on Earth she put it that dish to make it look like charcole but definitely not a pasta bake. And the dishwasher when she took it out, no steam or drips.

I used to work in fashion and we approached Lucy for a post and it was £4K for one Insta post!!!

Hattie Bourn did it too, so they must all be on the same campaign to release on the same day

Mrs Hinch did it, Lydia did it too - would have thought these brands would space them out a little more considering many people will follow a number
of these influencers and end up seeing the same ad in multiple cringeworthy formats within the space of a day or two.

Why is she posting things about sleep routines and feeding etc? It’s pretty poor advice considering he is only 6 weeks old? I’m pretty sure my LO was up every 2 hours at 6 weeks, and fed those times too.. it’s quite upsetting as you find mums whose babies are 6 weeks comparing them, and paying these ‘sleep’ consultants and feed consultants for nothing really!

I'm sure the Iconic one she did the other day was actually recycled content. Like just the same videos she posted last time around. I know you have a baby but don't accept these jobs if you're going to churn out recycled clips. This is 'work' after all.

I hope social media is different if and when I have babies, though I can only see it being worst. It's bad enough comparing yourself to it (which at least you have a little control over) but it must be SO difficult for new mums seeing these "perfect" babies who "sleep through the night" do they F.
I really like Lucy, even when her repeat ads annoy me, but I just want a bit of realism (though less of the pooey grams please, some things we don't need to see :D)

While I'm on this mini rant - oversharing parents?! Potty training - don't get me wrong, the odd "we've tried this, it's not working, does anyone have any tips" but I used to have a friend who would update her status for "**** did a poo in the big boy potty today, I'm so proud!" Just think about whether your kids will be happy about this being on the internet when they're old enough to see it 🤦‍♀️
Judgemental non-parent rant over :D

Definitely was, it was the one from about ten days after Roman was born!

Think he is more like 3months old rather than 6weeks.

It’s so worrying that these mums think that it’s ‘normal’ for a baby sleep through the night at that age. And she hasn’t had a full nights sleep since March! 😂 When I had my first I didn’t get a full nights sleep for years, not because he didn’t sleep, but because I was constantly checking on him or watching the monitor.
I watched a story from another instagrammer who used the same sleep consultant and I’m sure she advocates CIO.

Unfortunately she does, I have been in the desperate position of contacting her when my daughter was 12 weeks old as all my ‘friends’ babies were ‘good sleepers’ and recommend her, I paid £70 for a sheet to list a routine and CIO ‘gentle’ methods. I realised quickly how it didn’t suit our lifestyle and we just went with the flow 😊

Even so, I would class night waking and wanting to feed at night very normal behaviour for a 12 week old.. and a routine on sleep and feeding is probably not needed.. 🤷🏽‍♀️ But that’s just my opinion.. it feels like she is advertising it as a life saver and other mums will be drawn in to waste money

I expect the advice from the sleep consultant was #gifted too but of course not mentioned. That specific sleep consultant charges loads.

Her and her mate are obsessed with a full nights sleep and routines.
My little one is the same age and she leads the way. Wakes for a feed in the night and goes back down. I’m awake for around an hour.
I too haven’t had a full nights sleep since I was 7 months pregnant 😂😂😂

I read that you shouldn't really attempt a sleep routine with a baby until at least 6 months as before then they are too little. They suggest establishing good sleep patterns such as creating the right sleep environment but other than that you shouldn't impose a routine. If the baby does sleep through at this age its luck and their metabolism.

I was just saying he isn’t as young as some are making out. I totally agree with what your saying though, my son is 2 & its a very rare occasion if he will sleeps through the night.

I have an irrational hatred of sleep consultants. I think it’s so tit to prey on sleep deprived mums.

If you know the secret to getting babies to sleep then just share it rather than charging £50 for a piece of paper and no actual support.

But anyone with sense could see what the advice will be, and it’s completely different to that of any health professional. I have a 14 month old, some times he sleeps through, sometimes he doesn’t. But he’s never ever been left to cry and he never will be because he’s only little for such a short period of time and I want him to not cry because he feels safe and secure, not because it’s pointless as no one comes.

Her & Lydia seem to have this idealistic view of what motherhood is like. Every parent would like a full nights sleep, up refreshed to take on the day. You're on the babies terms & every baby is different. We accommodate them, not the other way around.
