There’s no reason any paperwork should leave the hospital is there?
Omg...the Facebook searches and handover sheet found at home in a search...is it normal practice to take things like this home? I'm thinking not.
To be honest, it's easily done. Whilst it should go in the confidential waste bin at the end of your shift, if your in a rush to get home it's simply left in your pocket. I've come home before with my huddle and handover from that days shift.
Begs the question why she had the handover of a child who wasn't allocated to her though, you'd only expect her to have her own paitents.
No! But I have been guilty of this. Not placing it in the correct bin after shift, placing it in my bag for it to end up home. Yet I took it back to hospital the next shift to place it in the right paper bin. Also I didnt murder those patients. The fact that she has one of the baby that died, says enough.
I think they've got a tit ton of evidence. They know what they are doing IMO.
No . Sometimes I accidentally took sheets home but they was empty sheets that I had spares in my pocket . Like Mar sheets and handover sheets that I had Nit written on . No way should any documents be taken home that did have information on
Yes, they will get paid something. Big companies will usually continue to pay staff their salary but otherwise they can claim up to about £65 per day?? I think.
The Facebook searches, id find it far more strange and incriminating if she's searched them up before coming under suspicion, if after, I think yea it'd be quite plausible that she'd have a nosy. I think when she searched them up will be an important factor.

I’m not sure what the rules are, if any. I think my employer would still pay as normal. Really difficult for the self employed I’d think. Tbh a nightmare for a lot. I wouldn’t want to, would be a logistical nightmare for me with childcare arrangements. I also don’t live near a court so again a logistical nightmare!
We had an incident in my place of work that a handover was found outside of the workplace. As a result seniors in charge at the end of each shift before handover, made sure that the finishing staff had all their handovers in the correct waste bin before leaving the building. It probably can happen easily and more often than not by mistake, but it shouldn't.
To be honest if Lucy wasn’t blonde, skinny, pretty and young, many people wouldn’t be thinking whether she’s innocent and have been set up. Detectives and police who are experts in Law and who know how to search sufficiently for evidence have arrested her numerous times and charged her for a reason.
Im just saying this because how people look does impact on how you view them. If Lucy was older, hard faced and overweight with a permanent scowl, many people would already choose to hang her, but because she’s blonde pretty and young, people are willing to question if she’s been set up.

That does really bother me. Imagine being the parents and finding out that not only was your child potentially murdered, but the suspect also 'stalked' your pain on Facebook.
I’ve just caught up with the Live reporting. The fact she was present all 24 times, had looked up the family of Child A & B on Facebook and had a handover sheet at home that evidenced she should have been looking after 2 other children that night (so why with A & B)? Is seemingly very strong circumstantial evidence
Searching the families is concerning, could smack of wanting to watch the devastation unfold after the event.
Considering the alleged repeated attempts on certain babies, multiple avenues apparently used, I can see why it'll be a long case.
Jesus, regardless of if she's guilty or innocent, I can't get the poor families out of my mind, my heart breaks for them. This has taken years for them to even get to this point and now they have to somehow get through this trial.

A similar pattern could emerge for the other children too.
I too work in healthcare, and I haven’t looked up any of my patients on social media..
But, I could understand if curiosity got the better of you, and you felt like nosying at the odd patient…
She might simply have looked them up after the babies died, to just be nosy?
As PP, have said the timing of these searches could be crucial.
