It's going to be interesting to hear what the staff witnesses have to say. I can't imagine any of them will just say they think she did it and i reckon most will have been shocked/surprised at her arrest. But they may all have small innocuous stuff they observed that builds a bigger picture.
I take character witnesses with a pinch of salt but it will be interesting to hear what they say as a collective. It does help build a picture of who the real LL is but memory can become distorted especially if others influence how you perceive(d) something.

People say scapegoat but surely they have something evidence wise on her 🤔
Exactly... They have to have some hard evidence to even get this to court. Some people seem to be in the thought process of a 'scapegoat' like all the names were put in a hat and LL name came out. Why would they pick her to be in the firing line... it doesn't make any sense as by all accounts she is a lovely person so why her!!

To be fair they have been dropping and adding charges left right and centre.

I imagine they have had a lot of time to play things over in their heads. Small things that they didn’t notice at the time could have turned significant since her arrest.

Prosecution repeating that LL attempted kill some babies up to 3 times. They obviously have proof of this.

I've been wondering about this case since the news broke. It's so strange. Not sure if I'll be able to follow all the thread/s though because it's so upsetting. :(

When the trial was announced lots of people were saying she's a scapegoat. I thought that could be true, but it's also possible they have a lot of evidence that the public doesn't know about. They've certainly been keen to pursue it and I don't know if they'd do that without strong reasons?

Child A born in good condition no longer requiring supplementary oxygen dies the same day after being in Letby care for 90minutes. The infant was described as ‘stable’ at handover. Children are fantastic at compensating but 90minutes is a rapid deterioration.

Do we think Lucy will give evidence herself? A lot of this will be relying on paperwork and medical records presumably as that will surely be most of the basis for the prosecution case.

The fact she’s been arrested and let go a few times is strange also

Don’t think they’d advise that

I go for one meeting and come back to 5 pages of unread thread! How am I supposed to hold down a full time job and follow this case! 😂
I’m wondering how often over the next six months I’m go to be too distracted and forget to pick my child up from school 🤣

Interesting observation made RE child A. A strange pink/blue blotchy patches appeared over the infant.. this unusual discolouration became the hallmark sign with further cases!

I do wonder though if LL knew this would be the evidence put forward why has she pled not guilty? Unless she actually is not guilty? I know that I could not sit and listen to all the horrific things I had done to those poor infants played out in court when I knew I had done it and they had overwhelming evidence. I wonder what her defence will be.
