I’ve been thinking of Hollyoaks! ‘The glove hand killer’! That turned out to be a pretty goody two shoes doctor. I can’t remember completely, but she injected something into patients sending them in cardiac arrest?
Wonder how many are off to Google 'Hollyoaks' 'Glove hand killer' now.

Well...Nice to meet all you lovely tattlers, I guess we'll be seeing each others names a lot over the next 6 months or so. The part I'm really waiting for before I decide what I think with regards to guilt or innocence is her digital footprint, what she's been looking at online etc, if there's anything been found in her house for example...at the moment I'm not making any assumptions. The parts about her movements outside of work I think I think will be the most telling as to her true character.
Those are good points, I never really thought of anything outside of the hospital

I agree but I remember seeing a request for a case like this before and I don’t think the mods were too keen. Might have been Archee battersbea?
I'm not sure about the Archie thread, that moved too fast for me so I dipped in and out. I don't think they ever had a wiki but don't know if that was because mods didn't allow it or they never tried to do one. With the nursemum they wouldn't allow threads on her at first, it got shut down but eventually it was allowed. They have allowed a wiki to be added, it's never been filled in though, it would take ages to list everything she's done. I think this thread may see a few of the tattlers from that thread due to the possible FII/munchausens and both being nurses. The wiki on the Ashley Cain thread is helpful, these threads move so fast it's hard to keep up.

Was it not only twice though that it occurred via that method of insulin in the bags?
it’s going to get confusing but sky news said child D and L were the deliberate insulin poisonings.

Child A was the suspected air emolus but Lucy mentioned the fluid bags in her interviews for that child and that she suggested they should be checked. Like she gave away a method she actually used

Child B was something shortly after “blood gases” (please can somebody explain what this means - is it just an observational check or some sort of treatment? They are saying she signed the blood gases)

tbh I think PP might be right about a wiki. I think the Archie battersbee one was only requested around the time he died so the threads weren’t going to continue at the same speed they had been for much longer.

The medical stuff is going to confuse me, but I think we have some nurses/health care workers who can help out.

I've started a new thread (prematurely but this one was moving so fast) but not sure how to add a wiki??

surely if she thought it was the wrong fluid you’d stop it immediately?

The bloods gases will be a blood test to check certain levels within the blood, and treatment/monitoring will be based upon the results. (I’m pretty sure)

My take on this is that the bags were supposed to be saline and LL said to police that the bags should be retrospectively checked to see if they had been contaminated somehow, or mislabelled.

I’m a right nosy b and love a good online stalk, however, I would find no satisfaction from looking up parents of poor dead babies on Facebook. Withholding their names from the public is the right decision and as morbidly curious as I am, I wouldn’t go looking for those names.

Her searching these people up in quick succession does sound like she’s ‘checking in’ on her victims but you could also put that behaviour down to morbid curiosity. It doesn’t look good though does it? I guess the defence could come in really strong and change my thinking.

I know she’s not been found guilty but with cases like this I always find the pure audacity of someone to think they have the right to end a life extremely maddening. This case is so sad and not sure I have the stomach to read through what each child went through before they passed away.

It means that she is checking the blood gas value from a blood test. But if the baby had some sort of line there are a few ways to close this I believe, which air can then be introduced to either deliberately or by accident if it was not flushed correctly. I just asked a friend of mine who is in the medical profession and this is my very unprofessional way of relaying what she said!

Maybe she only thought that after what happened? Looking back on what had happened and maybe that was the only thing they’d changed for a while. So maybe thought that’s why it happened?

Our family has experience of a micro preemie. Sadly, dreadfully and life altering the little one didn't make it.
Insulin was often administered on NICU as their little pancreas didn't work on its own.
I don't want to spiral with this, but it does make me wonder, was it preventable. I've never thought that before. My thoughts are with the parents and our family's lost little one today 💔

A blood gas is type of blood test where you obtain a sample, pop it into a machine and it gives you an instant reading of different measurements in the blood. The fact she signed the sheet demonstrates that despite that baby not being her patient she access that babies central line for blood just before they became poorly. Air embolism occurred due to air being pushed into that central line by syringe.

It's possible, but I still find it weird behaviour.
It’s also highly inappropriate, no medical professional should be searching for their patients social media. Regardless if she’s innocent or not. That is just strange and inappropriate.

Yeah just had a look it was asked and this was the response and nobody ever replied back after that. No harm in asking again though is there x

I can’t help but wonder why she would sign the sheet if she wasn’t the babies nurse, and therefor signing the sheet puts her there

I've no experience of Nursing/hospitals etc.
How do they knows she's the only one been present? Is there an accurate signing in and out procedure?

Obviously I'm not saying it's a lie as I know they won't have said it if they weren't sure but just curious at how they worked it out.

They won’t do, there’s no signing in and signing out procedure at all. As for insulin it isn’t checked by 2 nurses, it’s not locked away, it’s literally in a fridge anyone could walk in and get it…. It’s very accessible.
